Unequal Pay

I am a young woman who works in a fairly popular higher-end retail store. It has recently come to my attention that a male counterpart who was hired at the same time as me and has the same job title earns 20 cents more than I do. I know it's a fairly small discrepancy, but to me, it's the principal of the thing. I want to have this matter addressed, but I'm afraid of confrontation and I don't want to rock to boat or cause my manager to lose her job. What do I do?

I am a 21 years old girl from India. When I was 17, i started gaining weight suddenly. I was pretty skinny all my life otherwise. At 13, after I'd had my periods started an year back, i started getting curves, at 16, I was voluptuous. But by the time I was around 17-18, I started getting fat! I earlier used to think that it was due to all the greasy junk food I used to eat outside. But later on I noticed that I had lost a great amount of my appetite, but was still gaining weight. To add to that, I hadn't had my periods for as long as 6-7 months approx.
I got myself checked at a hospital and found out that I had hypothyroidism. Well anyway, I started taking medicines and took them for an year. My periods were normal again and I starte...

hi there guys im needing help im wanting to write a letter to my ex bf;s mum. i was with my ex for a year an a half, we broke up in febuary, i can tell he still likes me and weve recently started to spend time with each other again however his mum is the problem, his mum hates me, she goes mental with him when she knows he has been with me, i hate goin g behind her back because its just disshonest. id like to write her a letter to explain im sorry for anything i have done wrong and that i want to make amendments and just get along with her and be able to see my ex without going behind her back and also i would like to know why she does not like me... can anyone help me with what to write and the structure please :)

Weird Ear Problem

Hi!
I've had a problem with my left ear and when I went to the doctor he told me I had ear fluid and it was allergies. I've havent been taking the pills though and all of a sudden, both of my ears feel weird a few weeks later. I can hear fine when I test my ears but what is it and what can I do to get rid of it?

i am in a relationship for years.i hate going to the dentist so i take a tranquilizer.we went to a ball game and because i was having a great time because i do get excited with baseball all he said thru out the gave was please take the tranquilizer everyday. he did not laugh or join my excitement with the game. i am in florida and i am 47 yrs old

IUD benefits and side effects?

I work in a laboratory. Here one of our great benefits is getting free health care! They are now offering the IUD to women for birth control for free. I would like to know what the good and the bad are on this? I am currently on the depo and have been for over a year, before that I took birth control pills. Any info would be great! Thanks(:

Hi, we have been dating for 2 years. we love each other and we live together. he's a single father. he's defensive of his ex (well, that's what i reckon) and when i refer his ex girlfriend as an ''ex'' he says he doesn't think of her as his ''ex'' he says, she's the mother of his child and i say but she's still your ex because they broke up long time ago. so, guys my question is, is he still loves his ex or what is it? thank you all.

Scoliosis Rib Cage Problem

I have scoliosis, and it has caused my right back rib cage to stick out. I'm so embarrassed by it that I only wear lose guy tshirts, or a sweater with everything I wear, but lose things in the summer and I refuse to wear a bathing suit, so this summer ive been having to swim in clothes and hide under a towel immediately after I get out because the wet clothes will make it noticeable. I have not seen a doctor about this because I have no money, and I researched it and it's $120,000 for surgery, and there's a chance I would be paralyzed for the rest of my life. Idk what to do, but I'm so sick of being self conscious of my body and having back pain ):

I am 18/F and I'm still a virgin, I know now a days that's "something to be proud of" and I should want to wait forthat right person and blah blah but I don't want to wait, it's not because of society, or peer pressure or else I would've already done it by now, but I want to have sex, I'm ready I just don't know how to accomplish this goal. I'm applying for an internship with a charity: they then put you with a leading politician for 9 months. It's great, because I've always wanted to do this, but a lack of money has always prevented me from doing so. This is paid, and so I'm trying to make my application perfect.
The problem is, how easily should I tell the truth? During my school years, I did the bare minimum to keep me going. I was literaly a straight B student. I got 1 A, and that was because my teacher pushed me. Even in that subject, I was 7 marks away from an A+. So I kinda melted this cup I got from the circus 2 years ago and my grandparents paid like $9 for it. It was a complete accident but now I'm feeling really stupid and guilty about it. What can I do?

Burns

Hi!! So um long story short I was very stupid and poured hot (not steaming hot but still hot) water from the kettle into a plastic sippy cup which melted causing the water to burn 3 of my fingers. I've tried running it under cool water and my mom told me to put polysporine on it but it still is burning. My fingers are swollen I have a blister the size of a small blueberry on my index finger and two smaller ones (one each on my other two fingers) . My fingers feel like they are burning but they're not red. What else can I do for my burn(s)?

What do you do . when someone is mad at you.... you apologized? they don't respond back. I swore to God that i would leave them alone. but still i want to talk to them like i want them to talk to me. and i'm talking about this one guy he is like a big brother to me seriously. but i don't know. he is angry i told one person something i didn't tell him. i was mad at that time though. so i didn't feel like repeating myself. when i'm mad or sad i only need one listening ear you know? i hate repeating myself . please someone ....i think i know i should just wait. until he talks to me but i don't know . any ideas? on what i should do to keep myself from thinking about it?

Sensitive Body

I don't know if this is any reason to be concerned... but I'm a bit of a hypochondriac.
I feel like parts of my body are WAY too sensitive to touch. Like, a moment ago I was just putting lotion on my hips and it hurt a bit... like it would if I had been pressing down VERY hard... but I wasn't. I was just rubbing it in gently.
Or with some parts of my body, like my arms... if I just take a finger and press down for a second it'll hurt for a minute or so. Not like a sharp pain... but just as if someone had grabbed me very tightly.
Is there such a thing as just having a sensitive body? Or should I be concerned?
