Question Posted Wednesday July 25 2012, 6:23 pm

I need help getting references for my job applications. I have only worked 3 jobs. I have no references anymore because I lost old contact information and it's been a long time since I have spoken to any of my former employees. What should I use for references?

You can use teachers, and previous employers.

All you need is the contact details of an employer, and their name. A phone number should suffice.

You could give them a call if you find out other information. Try google for business names and numbers.

Like I said, you can also use teachers.

If all that fails, then you just have to explain that to the employer. You could do charity work/voluntary work/work experience to get references.
