okay im 4'11" and im 14. im not getting much taller maybe an inch or so. im skinny except for my lrgs, like im not a twig, i have meat to my bones but it looks fine. my thighs arent wide when you look at them straight on (when im in shorts) but sideways they are really big like i play soccer so the back part of them are muscle but the front part is flab. it looks so bad cause i am really self concious and like i cant wear the jeans i want. i only have 2 pairs where they hide it and now with bathing suite season comming im really getting like nervous and i hate it.

How can I get motivated to start getting in shape and eating right? I don't have a lot of time to work out outside of school, but I play lacrosse, and I have practice 2 hours everyday so that gives me a pretty good work out. But I still overeat, and I don't know what it'll take to finally make the decision to stop it. Nothing seems to get me going. Any ideas?

Ok so i'm 13/F. I am only 5"1 which is pretty short, and I'm not supposed to grow much taller than that, which is a real bummer. Anyways, My thighs are shaped strange. They aren't "chubby" or anything, they're like, "fit" in a "round" way... I'm a size 2/3 in jeans and they are thin, so don't think I have a low self confidence, but they curve outward. Like, the Muscle part curves outward. Is there anyway to make them less 'round'? Or maybe help them grow out? Thanks :).

I've been dancing for 14 years. I have really good kicks. But lately, I've been trying to lose weight. My thighs are HUGE because there is so much muscle in them. Is there any way I can get them smaller? I don't really know how to lose muscle.

I'm 17/f, and overall i'm pretty thin (not like anorexic...but like average) people are alwayss telling me i'm skinny...BUT i always notice that my stomach is huge...it looks like i'm pregnant- it just kind of sticks out. Is there anything specifically that i can to do make it shrink?? ANY advice would be really helpful- Thanks!!

I'm 16, I'm 150, and I think 5 feet tall. Yes I am short.
I want to lose 25, or better yet, 30 pounds by summer. Why? I absolutely love clothes. I love fashion. But sadly, there isn't a lot of clothes that I am fond of that look very flattering on flabby/chubby people. And it's really hard to find 'on sale' clothes that come in medium-extra large. I also want to lose face flab :D.
However, the difficulty lies in doing so.
I have a threadmill, however, I think it's really boring, even with music. I'd much rather do cardio on an elliptical and do weights at the gym, but the problem in that lies in the fact of persuading my parents! (any advice on doing so would be help alot)

i'm 16/f 162lbs and 5'4.
my doctor told me today i need to loose weight.
so i'm gonna aim for around 130lbs.
i don't really have a deadline for the amount of weight.
but maybe at least 15lbs by my birthday (which is late april).
i'm wondering how to do this.
any specific diets i should try?
or any tips that helped you while changing your lifestyle?
any help would be great.

Sooo..
how do you get rid of a double chin.
Look im not fat, well except in my stomach area, but i know how to get rid of that and all but how do you get rid of a double chin?!?!?
Please be Discriptive and like step-by-step if you can or if that made any sense :)
Oh, and if it has to do with what i eat, please make a list like monday -fruit day
tuesday-meat day

i really want a treadmill and i was gonna buy one from Walmart for like 300 with my own money but my dads like oh you cant buy one blah blah blah.
i want to know which ones better, an elliptical or a treadmill.

do guys like athletic girls? i dont know...i just want to know what guys look at in a girl. i mean, guys like me. but i want them to like me for the right reasons so i want to try and see if i can break down those stupid "looks" barriers at all... not sure how yet but haha, i just need an overview of what guys like. both inside and out please and thank you!! :)

I really want to get in shape, i've been wanting to loose weight for so long. I'm about 5'0 125 lbs. I got pregnant not to long ago and lost 20 pounds; i did weigh 145. I decided not to have the kid, but now i still weigh 125. When i started seeing the scale go down, i started crying. I couldn't fit into a 7 or 9 for that matter, and now i wear a 7. My stomach and thighs still arent small anough so i was wondering if i went and jogged and walked in the park with my dog everyday would i loose some weight. I'm also addicted to sweets so that's something i have to work on too. Thank you for your time.

I am happy with my body except this little pouch of fat or skin at my belly button and right above my hips my belly flattens. this is very hard to explain but some say that i have "a baby making stomach" since i already have some fat or extra skin there. I have a flat belly besides this annoying pouch. i do about 400 slow crunches a day but it is still there! I am also a very healthy eater and i exercise a lot. maybe i am just not doing the right exercises? Please tell me what i could do to get it to go away.

help!
seriously i have a bad binge eating habit! i tired everything! so please spare me unless its something i haven't listed:
here are the things i tried:
A)going to the gym (i still go so i could maintain my strength to help around the house)
B)going to my school psychologist who told me to:
1)not deprive myself
2)keeping food available so i don't feel deprived
3)not keeping food so i don't snack (after the previous failed)
4)buy small plates to control portions
5) go for a walk
6)think of happiness when i feel a food attack coming on
7)surround myself w/ people
8)buy healthy food
9) only keep fruits and veggies at home...etc...

i want to know how much a tredmil would be and if it would be worth spending sooo much of my own money on it. also, any ideas on how to get the cash.?
i really want to be in shape and im starting to get "chubz" even tho you cant see it when wearing clothes. and i cant deit, foods too good. :)

Ok im 14/f 134 pounds and 5"3 . Not fat at all , but i would like to have my stomach a little flater . Just last night i started doing 50 situps & im going to do this everynight . About how long will it take to see results . Im very active , i play soccer & we run alot ?

I want to make my below-the-waist region bigger because my lower hips (just under my waist) are quite wide but my actual hips aren't as wide and it looks a bit out of proportion.
So right now I do lunges, squats and stationary bike (some people tell me stationary bike is going to make me smaller some people it's going to make my muscles bigger, I don't know!)
I need some exercises that will build my muscles up around that area but if possible, without using any gym equipment as the only thing I have is my stationary bike.
I'm also in the process of stretching my muscles about 3 times a day to help me gain flexibility but I'm worried loosening my muscles is going to make my legs look leaner and prevent th...
