hi, I'm a 17 year old guy. this girl (a bit older than me) across the street mentioned to my brother that she wants to borrow a game, which i happen to own. well i'm done with the game and think this might be an opportunity for me to get to know her better. would it be too weird and too forward if i went over there, and gave the game to her personally? i barely ever see her around the street, but i quite like her and thought i could strike up a conversation with her. so.. would this be too weird and intrusive to go over to her place and give it to her? shes been waiting for me to finish it for a while. just want to know what the done thing is in this kind of situation.

one of my best guy friends constantly smokes. he is only about 13 or 14, which really makes me sad for him. he said he quit, but he hasn't. i really care about him and am concerned, i've tried getting rid of the cigarette while he was using it, and trying to explain to him that i care, but he is not emotional at all (he doesn't cry over relationships, and not even when his brother died). i would appreciate suggestions on how to get him to quit completely. thanks!

my sweet 16 is in august and i'm starting to run out of time! this is a special birthday as you know, so it needs to be good. i need ideas for what to do, under two conditions: nothing dancing, and nothing too expensive (thousands of dollars), ya know! give me ANY ideas you have because i can't think of anything and i'm scared i won't be able to do anything in time and it will be a dissapointing birthday. thanks! I come on here and I always give advice but this time I am asking for advice. I have always been good at giving advice but as most people know for most people it is hard to come up with advice for theirself. There is this person who I use to date. The only reason we broke up is because we both got busy in our own lives. I love this person and their son with all of my heart and soul. They are my life eventhough we aren't together. im a sophomore in highschool and the guy i like is a senior. he'd had a girlfriend for a long time. about 2 years i think. but they break up alot and fight alot. i really like him and i dont know what to do. should i tell him i like him? he is the most popular kid in school. everybody knows him even the freshman. i talk to him online but we only hung out once and thats when he invited me to come see him at his work. we have alot in common like the music and movies and the stuff we like. i dont know how serious he is with his gf. he always tells other girls their hott. plus they fight alot. how can i hint to him that i like him without actually telling him straight out? or should i tell him straight out? should i even tell him at all?

ok so i met this guy in the beginning of the semester and hes super sweet we went out for a month & he broke up with me in the cruelest way possible. he felt really bad and due to the lack of me being able to stay mad at him i still talked to him. now that classes have changed i havnt really seen him for like almost a month. i think he still likes me bc we still talk on aim & we wanna hang out but i hear rumors & my friend told me he couldnt decide between 8 [yes 8!] girls. after that i was completely over him but now im wondering if i would consider seeing him again. hes sweet REALLY funny and cute but he makes me so upset. should i keep him as my friend or try to make it something more??

I absolutely love to read. Can anyone give me lots of great teen books (novels are great!) that you absolutely loved...Most likely if a lot of people have read it, ive read it too. so think of some good ones that not many have read. some examples of my faves are Looking For Alaska, and Hard Love. Ipod

Ok, I have an Ipod shuffle, and it's like, really screwed up. It doesn't play in the left side in 3 different pairs of headphones and in my speakers, it keeps freezing and turning off by itself, without the battery dying, and just doing weird stuff like that. I've heard you can ship it back and they'll fix it for you. Does anyone know how I can do this? I tried the Ipod website, but couldn't find that or anything else to fix it. Thanks so much!

ok so im 15 and never had a boyfriend and thats not what bugs me what bugs me is that im practically incapable of flirting. i just dont get it. i dont know how to tell if a guy is flirting with me or how to flirt back i can comfortably talk to my friends that are guys but if im around someone who i like im just not myself and it bugs me b/c i become kind of uptight and i just want to get this whole flirting thing like everyone else. please help!

15/f...I like this one guy named Brett. We've only known each other for about two weeks but I know all his secrets and stuff and he knows all of mine. I know who he likes but he is trying to get over her because she's his other friends girl. I had one of my friends talk to him and ask if he liked me and he said ((hesitaintly)) that we're not like that. Do you think that I should be more agressive towards him or shy like hard to get? If im too agressive I could scare him away and if I'm too shy he could give up on me all together. Any ideas?

He used to like my friend Katie at the beginning of the year but now I feel like every single time that I talk to him he's more into Katie.
