running with fast runners

ok. so, school started for us thursday, august 10. my classes are great, and i have atleast one friend in each class. in p.e., i have several friends, but atleast half of them are really good runners. every year, we do this fitness thing where we have to do sit-ups, stretching, etc. we also have to do a mile run. this bothers me a lot, because i'm not really a good runner, and i feel bad because my friends are really athletic, and i wanna atleast be behind them in the mile run, not somewhere near the end. i know i can focus myself to not stopping and stuff, and that i can probably take the pain, but i have troubles with the breathing. how are you supposed to breathe while running so you won't get too tired or any of that stuff?

I know FOR SURE that I have OCD, but my phsyciatric doctor only diagnosed me with anxiety. I take two medicines for it, but they don't help. I need OCD medication, but he hasn't diagnosed me with OCD. How can I prove to him that I really do have it? I was thinking that I could keep an OCD journal, and write down all the rituals and OCD things I do each day and show him, but I need other ideas.

Phobia that will lead to suicide or anorexia.

I have a phobia of food poisoning and throwing up. I've already decided that the next time I throw up or ever get food poisoning, I will kill myself, and if that doesn't work out, I'll be anorexic to prevent food poisoning.
I already have a therapist, but she doesn't help with my phobia's. I've asked my mom to get me one that specializes in phobia's, but she chose this one to helpme with my depression (which I am over) and she won't get me a new one.
It's either give me a way to never throw up or get food poisoning, or I'll end up in a bad situation.

How can I help my friend?

Ok my friend (who is a guy, and I am a girl) just broke up with his girlfriend, who is another friend of mine. And ever since the break up My guy friend and me have been spending a lot of time together...while the his ex is moving on with other guys(if you know what i mean) I think he is using me as a way of not to deal with the pain. I feel so bad for him because I can see how much he is hurting and everytime I bring her up he changes the subject. I don't want to push...but i want to help him get over it. How can i do that? If you look at him you can tell he is in pain...just he trys to cover it up. I don't want him to know that I know he is in pain. So what should I do? Any help would be amzing!

my life is just falling apart

I feel like I don't want to live anymore. I did NOTHING this summer and I hate myself for wasting my summer. I lost alot of my friends almost all of them. My boyfriend and I just broke up. My 9 year old sister gets treated like a princess by my parents and my parents ground me for everything that happens when my sister always does the bad stuff. My sister gets to go to my neighbors beach house every weekend and sleeps over EVERY weekend while my mom makes me stay with my grandma who hates me while my mom and dad go to expensive restaurants having the best time. I used to be the smartest person in school with straight A's but now my grades are slipping so much I almost had to stay back. I'm so lazy and never get anything done. I've gotten so...

Orientations confusion!!

I'm not too sure about my orientation. I don't know if I'm straight or bi. I need to go out with a girl to make certain if I am or not [if I'm okay with the fact that I'm going out with a girl]
Okay, so I know this one bi girl at my school and I kind of like her. But one of my friend, Lena went out with her and would it be awkward if I went out with Lena's ex? And what if I find out I'm not bi, wouldn't that be a crusher for Rachel?
Also if I am bi, I'm afraid to come out because my school is 99% homophobes. I could go out with Rachel secretly but she has the tendancy to blab out a lot.
Also, I only like girls that are bi. If I know they're straight, I don't like that. I guess it's a good thing[if I'm bi]. But is that normal?

libel law

Does anyone know whether, in U.S. law defamation of character (ie. libel or slander) has to be relayed to a third party to become actionable, or is it actionable when between just two people.
Eg. I think my ex-boyfriend is a pedophile, but am unsure and have no evidence, and I email him accusing him of pedophilia, is that libel? Or is it only libel if I email the townspeople, or post a public flyer?

manual car

i just got a manual car yesterday and i can drive it pretty well. i just have trouble starting at stoplights and such. i put it into 1st gear and let out my clutch slowly while applying the gas. the engine starts revving really high, but when i start moving it goes really slow. it takes about 2 blocks for me to reach 25 mph. what am i doing wrong?
the car is a 2002 hyundai accent with only 60,000 miles on it, if that helps

So me and my bofriend haven't had sex and are both virgins. But we do have sex play. He's the first guy I've ever done anything with besides kissing. He's waaay more experienced than me and he says he's been close to having sex before. Which could mean he's made sexual contact with other people, and I'm guessing he probably has..he's been doing that for awhile..[before we started dating] I don't know how many girls he's been with or whatever. Age Is Just A Number, Right?

Okay so I have this friend who I horseback ride with and she's three years younger than me. Well, you wouldn't think that would matter because she acts more mature thatn she really is and it's almost like she keeps me in touch with my innocnet side. (at our age, 3 years is a big difference). However, every time I mention her, my best friend goes, "Ew, you're 5th grader?!" (going into 6th)So my question is is the age difference okay?

I had really bad acne so I went to a dermatologist and they gave me some really good things to rid of the zits. I guess I used them too much and I completely dried out my face. My nose and cheeks are soo red because I irritated my face. I went back to the dermatologist and they said to just stop putting stuff on my face and wait for 2 or 3 days to see if the redness goes away. It's been like 4 days and my face is still soo dried out and the zits are still there. What can I do to stop the irritation on my face? I waited a couple of days and that didn't work.

I am a 14 year old girl, and up until about a week ago I never had a boyfriend, had never been kissed or anything. But last summer I knew a boy from camp, and I liked him then, but I didn't see him again till this summer at the same camp, when he said we should hang out. my friend slept over at my house, and we both slept in my room. i have a computer in my room, and i told her that she could go on my computer if she woke up before me, which she did. when i woke up, i was still in bed and i just opened my eyes, but i didnt move or anything. i could see from where i was on my bed that she was going through my computer and looking at all of my things. i could see that she was looking through one of my word documents. then when i said something, i sounded tired and she closed the document immediately and i could see she was hoping that i hadn't seen her looking through my things. i know that i shouldve said something but i didnt, and i completely regret that now, because it shocked me that she would do somethi...

boyfriend smokes weed

My boyfriend smokes weed and it really bothers me. I know it's HIS life and I shouldn't tell him what to do, but I don't want him to mess up his life. I know people say ciggs are worse then weed, but weed can still give you cancer. I don't want him to die I just want him to STOP doing drugs so I don't always have to worry about him. What can I say and do to help him stop smoking weed?

Okay, so on this site, I created Advice Center group where people can ask about anything. (All the other groups with advice was for like only certain topics such as hair, or boys, or pets, etc.) And so I was feeling good because I made the group. And then someone joined the group and posted his Advice From Johnny group link in the msg board for my group asking people to join.
I don't know. I guess I mad because
1)he stole my idea
2)people might go to his group and asks questions there instead of in my group
3)leave my grou pt join his
And do you guys get my point? I don't know what to do. Maybe I should post my group link in his group msg board when enough people join. What shall I do? And yes, I might be a tad bit jealous =X

Sorry this is way longg. But id appreciate any help.
In the eighth grade i met my bestfriend. She was in the Seventh grade. Then i went to highschool & we never really talked anymore. only a little. When she finish Junior high she went to a different highschool then i did. Remember she was a real good girl & never did anything wrong. Seriously.
She lived with her grandmother & her dad. Wehn school let out for Christmas break she decided that she wanted to visit her mom & her grandmother didnt like that & kicked her out of the house. So she went & moved in with her mother. Well her mother has a son With a different guy. My bestfriend & her stepbrother(i think thats what he is)...
