that`s discharge. ask her if it "itches" down there. and if it does, she most likely has a yeast infection.

If she has a yeast infection, have her tell her mom that she has the symptoms and try getting medication. If she's uncomfortable with sticking things 'up there' then request the kind where you swallow a pill. Much easier for an 11 year old.

As for sleeping in her bathing suit - tell her to stop. Change into underwear before going to bed - bathing suits are not meant for casualty. They are meant for swimming and nothing else.

11 seems a little young to a have a yeats infection but i could be wrong. According to this site you should see a doctor right away.

And she needs to change out of her bathing before going to bed. Even if its not a yeast infection. Wearing a wet bathing suit to bed is kind of disgusting.

It sounds pretty normal. Its probably just discharge which everyone gets. You usually get it before you get your period for the first time. But it doesnt mean its going to come in a few days. You can get discharge for a few YEARS before your period starts. If it smells very bad and itches, it could be a yeast infection (common and easy to treat) and she should tell her mom/go to a doctor to get it treated.

I could be a yeast infection, even though that is a very young age to have one. The only way to get it treated is to go to a Dr. or buy yeast infection cream. I would go to the Dr. though because no one on here can tell you 100% if indeed it is a yeast infection or not. You get them from having to much sex, wearing tight clothes & wearing WET CLOTHES -like a bathing suit.
