soccer advice

Im a sophmore and just started playing soccer this year. I'm not a starter and i really want to prove that I can play good. I want to play defense. The problem is I basically have no motivation to play hard, people such as my mom and sister are putting me down saying I cant do it. I almost want to quit, but I need advice on how to get myself motivated and focused and more energized. Any soccer advice would be appreciated. =]

I really like this boy, he likes me back (we both know it) but were not going out yet. Heres the only problem, were both pretty shy. Well when i get to now people im really outgoing and crazy but around him im still kinda shy and so is he. So the relationship really is going far. So heres my question, should i keep tying to make it work or is it pointless?
Also were gonna hang out this friday. We have never hung out alone (only with our group of friends)so im nervous. Any tips? like talking and stuff, I dont want there to be awkard silent moments.

my friend is in the shittiest situation. her mom is abitch, she fucks random guys, sometimes hits her, calls her fat and ugly, makes her cry, locks her in her room, and has mood swings. i honestly think her mom has some mental disorder or something. she doesnt deserve to have kids because she is a horrible evil bitch and makes my friend feel like shit. now i am the one she calls after she fights with her mom and is sobbing, and i feel so b ad beacause i dont even know what to say half the time. seh cant live with her dad, grandpa/grandma or anyone else. her mom hates me and my mom for no apparent reason and constantly says shit about us. now i do NOT know what to do and im on the verge of crying because i feel so stressed bcause i feel lik...

ok so i went on vacation to our beach house and met a guy that i liked alot. he liked me to and we decided to be friends with benefits..we made out and he seemed to really like me. I had to leave later the next week and he said he'd call me every day..well then he said every other day cause he'd forget..but its now been like..5 days and ive called him 3 times..and he was only there like twice..but his grandparents said they'd tell him to call me. He called back once..but not the other 2 times..so am i scaring him by calling him a lot?..ive only called him 3 times..and its been 5 days..ive called him every other day..or did he just lose interest in me since i left? thanks for your help =] oh and im 13/f if it helps

My friends and I are having a photo shoot type thing where we dress up like a celebrity we look like and I am Alyson Michalka. Well I recently cut my hair so now it is a couple inches above the shoulders. I can't find a picture to pose like. I play guitar so it would be cool to have a guitar in the picture. But I might want a picture with the hair pulled back so that you can't notice how short it is. Does anyone have any ideas or pictures? Thanks!

hi, i was just wandering how much a small animal would cost? i live in the uk, and there are only 2 shops that sell live stock. one only sells birds and the other sells fish, small animals, and birds. the first is really crappy and in poor condition. the other is really good, and big. i was just wandering how much a small animal like rats, hamsters, gerbils will cost? also, how long can a fish live in a plastic bag for(with water obviousely) thanks. please answer back because i need to know by wednesday. thanks in advance

My sister is 12 years old & i just found out something that disturbs me a bit.
