i just got a paid account, and i would really like for someone to explain to me how to work the codes for creating your own layouts. do they work just like livejournal, or myspace? or if anyone knew a couple of websites for me to get some layouts from, that would be most appreciative.

you know how there is always that one friend you have to says what they feel right to your face? well, i do and her name is carrie. we got in this big fight today at lunch and she was all up in my face. i was like back up and she was like whatever, your such a two faced b*tch. god she makes me so mad! what should i do about this? help me!

Replacing a li ion battery

I am going to buy an MP4 player and am sure about all its specs except it says it has a li ion battery. I am used to rechargeable batters you can take out easily like AAA. I read that they don't recharge after so long. I was wondering how would I get the battery replaced? Would I have to go to the same store where I bought the MP4 player or somewhere else? I don't know how long the store will be around for.

Well, next weekend I'm going to a party, not for halloween or anything like that, but just for a party. I was wondering what some good things would be to wear. I was also wondering what I should do because pretty much everyone in my grade is "dirty" I guess, and i've never been asked out or kissed or anything, and there will probably be a lot of dancing and stuff like that at this party. I guess is there any kind of things i can do to 'fit it' or whatever, but still be myself?

Alright. Well, I sit with my one friend at lunch and basically only know a couple of people at his table. My problem is is that there is guy that sits there too, and he's really nice, but the problem is is that he is really quiet. I try to talk to him, and he kind of talks to me but I really have no idea what to do. I've never had a boyfriend or anything like that, unlike ALL of my friends and I have no ideas what to do. Please help.

Keeping in Shape

I used to play sports pretty much 24/7, all the time. Lately I haven't really been playing as much sports and I used to and I'm getting out of shape. I was wondering if anyone had good ideas of what kind of diet to have and what kind of fitness or workout routine they do that really helps them. It would be greatly appreciated.

My mom is a little bit dumb because she said I could bid on a shirt for 25 dollars [thats with the tax added] so I did but then I bidded again and won it for 35 dollars plus shipping added to that price. So then when I told her that she's like "OMG NO I NEVER SAID YOU COULD BID ON THAT OMG IM NOT PAYING 35 DOLLARS" and I know I said 25 dollars would be the price so I offered to pay 10 dollars so she wouldnt have to pay 35. So all of a sudden magically in my moms mind she said that I did ask her but I said 16 dollars. So is there any friggin way I can cancel my purchase on ebay? I already won the item.

To start everything off, I'll say that I'm 16 and my friends mean the world to me. And to lose the people that I've grown up with is something I don't know how to deal with... We have a click around my neighborhood that was us 4 or 5 girls and a couple boys. Back in May I went away for the weekend and came back to find that my best friend of 7 years was getting really close with this other 2-faced, drama loving girl from our neighborhood. While I don't have a problem with it, they decided that since I talked to her ex boyfriend they were both going to be mad at me. 13/f 8th grader. I've been becoming stressed out alot lately.. I don't ever get enough sleep(12:00am? - 6:00am), I'm trying my best to get my homework done and its hard, Trying my best to keep my grades up, also trying to keep doing good in basketball to make the high school team, I'm also trying to get this boy to date me but he is leading me on and everything..I always never get to listen during class cause i'm always trying to get my homework done for the next period! 14/f well, i meet this guy down town and we hung out for a littel while. before he left to go back to where he lives (about an hour away) we exchanged screen names. we talke dfor a bout a month or so before we decided to start soem sort of a relationship. he was too clingie though, and called everyday. he always said how he cant stop thinking about me, but after a while, i didn't liek it. i didn't know hwo to tell him though. so i broke it off. he still talkes to my friend zack though, adn it turns out that he still likes me. i feel that i broke it off and that i left things unfinished, but im afraid that if i call, he will start to like me more again. what can i do?

i know that everyone likes the popular guy but i really like him. i have lunch with him and we talk but normally just about sports or the math homework. he's a year older than me. basically i want to know how to talk to him and have a decent conversation and hint to him that i like him without publically humiliating myself and getting hurt if he doesn't like me back.

i messed up with my boyfriend. i feel horrible.
ian and i have been going out for 3 months now. i just told him something big about my life that i think he should've known. i told him that i have cut myself before. he flipped out.
he also said that he was gonna end the relationship until i can prove to him that i really want to stay in it (from something else that i did i think). what can i do? talking to him on the phone wont help.
any ideas on what i should do?

Well today after one got home there was this awful smell traveling through our house and we believe a skunk sprayed our house. But we think it is trapped in our house or dead. The smell keeps traveling and we dont know how to get rid of it. Any ideas? thank you.

ok so there's this girl in school and well she's a big dork and she doesn't shower daily. She's pretty much the biggest skank ever.
well lately she has been getting this scab on her top lip and on her bottum lip i mean they are huge! The bottum covers 75 % of her chin and the top covers like 25% well her lips are gross to. but these scabs are like red around the edges and yellow puss looking stuff on top. i can't figure out wat it is. and i want to help her get rid of it cuz she's helpless to it. wat should i say to her about it? and wat do you think it is? i don't think she is sexual active so im guessing its not herpes or anything like that. shes only in the 7th grade so i really don' think thats a factor in this. its reall...

Overwashing.

I read washing your hair once a day is super bad for it. My hair is quite damaged (I've already switched to SunSilk Hydra TLC and I now use a heat protectant) but I want to see what not washing my hair so much will do for it.
How many days should I go without washing it?
And, what if my hair looks greasy, will that stop when it gets used to not being washed as much?
