Question Posted Friday September 22 2006, 10:15 pm
My mom is a little bit dumb because she said I could bid on a shirt for 25 dollars [thats with the tax added] so I did but then I bidded again and won it for 35 dollars plus shipping added to that price. So then when I told her that she's like "OMG NO I NEVER SAID YOU COULD BID ON THAT OMG IM NOT PAYING 35 DOLLARS" and I know I said 25 dollars would be the price so I offered to pay 10 dollars so she wouldnt have to pay 35. So all of a sudden magically in my moms mind she said that I did ask her but I said 16 dollars. So is there any friggin way I can cancel my purchase on ebay? I already won the item.

THE SAME THING!!!!! all i did was email the seller and explain why you can't pay for it, and if its a good enough reason she will relist the item and everything will go back to normal. make sure you say your sorry 100 times and make it sound sad and stuff! dont say "my dog ate my money" because the seller will report it to ebay and you could get banned. luckily the seller was nice to me, so she let everything slide. you might not be that lucky. but i wish you good luck [ adviice_whore's advice column | Ask adviice_whore A Question ]
