If you want fast results (but however painful) get it waxed but put aloe vera on it.
Aloe vera is the same gel you use to treat sunburn so you can find it in the cosmetics/body care aisle at the store. The aloe can soothe, cool, and relieve the skin from itching, rashes, and other pains.
Just be careful and for best results try to shave it as less often as you can. Doing it daily or fairly often can cause unbearable inflammation pains and redness. Trust me. So keep it easy, because that's the best way to go when you are doing it for the first time. [ PunkieFreak4690's advice column | Ask PunkieFreak4690 A Question ]

But, if you would like a more conventional way...first, it is always best to get most of it off with an electric razor. Then, use the veet hair removal cream w/ the bladeless razor. It is an awsome way for me & does make it smooth. Waxing is really the best way to go, but, it really, really hurts! GL. [ LouellaWalters26's advice column | Ask LouellaWalters26 A Question ]

some people like to shave it, which can cause a rash, so it would be best to put lotion on down there.
Some people like getting it waxed, getting it waxed its more percise and the hair doesn't come back as fast.
