curious about a guy

15/f. i have 5/6 class with a really popular guy named Nick. He is popular, hot, nice, and shy. i reallly like him because he doesn't act like he's popular (he just is) and he's really hot. i don't have a big crush on him, just a little one (kind've like most girls do with him). well i've never really talked to him much or anything, so we don't know each other that well. but since i have so many classes with him, i've noticed him looking at me alot. especially in social studies. i don't know if this means anything, but can someone tell me if it does? he tends to look at me at semi-quick glances, and sometimes we make eye contact.
what should i do about this? because i kinda like him looking beause i kind've like him.
what does all of this mean?

Party or play

hey,
I am having this awsome birthday party with a friend of mine. I had joined this play early on and i just found out they changed the date to the same day as my party!!!! My mom says I can't quit!!!!!! But the party really means alot to me and the play is causing too much conflict. What should I do?
help me please but i also don't want to be mean to the director

Caught in the middle

Okay. So I'm in 8th Grade, and it's soo hard. And ontop of that I'm directing a show and I just finished doing Into the Woods Jr. Now, with the same company that did Into the Woods they're doing Hansel and Gretel and they seem to really like me there finally, I've been doing that company for years and I always got ensemble roles there. Now, the musical director wants me to audition for Hansel and Gretel, yet my Mom thinks I shouldn't and I don't know if I should. Auditions are in 5 days soo...yeh. Anyone who solves my problem gets a cookie.

vintage or used clothes?

I usually wear some abercrombie or american eagle type clothes but I want to have some more individual clothes in my wardrobe too. So I was wondering if 2nd hand stores like goodwill, value village, or places like that are good places to find unique shirts and accessories. I'm trying to fray away from preppy clothes, but I still want to be girl. Also are there any stores that aren't 2nd hand that have the things im looking for? thanks for you help! any advice at all is greatly appreciated

for the past week or so my balls have been aching slightly. its not that painful but it is worrying me. it comes and goes every now and then and sometimes i feel it one and then it moves to the other. ive never had sex before so i dont think its an std but i do want to know whats going on and how i can stop it.

BIG science research paper topic

Our class in science is supposed to come up with a topic that we would like to do a research paper about. The topic isn't something broad. It's very specific. Here are some examples of what other kids picked or could pick:
*How do store owners arrange the clothes in their store to attract more customers?
*Why do humans really laugh?
*What is makeup really made out of?
*What shampoos and conditioners work best and worst on hair?
*What do genetics have to do with your singing voice?
etc, etc, etc.
So really, I could pick anything. I just dont know what to pick. I have to come up with a WHOLE paper about something so specific!!! I kind of would like to do the one "what is makeup rea...

There's a really really REALLY hott guy in my class...let's call him...tim. Well, Tim is a really popular guy who is really nice and well, HOT :)...basically, if you looked at him, your heart would melt...lol. And, well i'm not a popular person..It's not like i'm a total geek or anything but i'm not the most popular girl in my class...im just normal...

My bf is kind of startng to annoy me. he wont even look at me when i talk to him, im pretty sure he listens but it seems weird that he wont even look at me. and he wont just like stop and talk to me in the hallways, i always hav to start conversation. And today he like ignored me when i ran up to him. hes really not a shy person its just around me. And at first i thought he didnt like me anymore but he said he does. should i just dump him? i still like him but he acts weird sometimes and i HATE how he wont look at me!

My best friends mom has cancer

Hey,
last night my best friend called my cell phone at around 10 and told me that her mom has colon cancer. When I heard this i started crying because I know my friend and her mom are really close.
So my question is, what can I say to my friend? I mean i dont really even know how to react to this, its one of those things you never think will happen to you. Does anyone know what the chances that her mom will die are? Thank you so much

I've got this amazing friend, John. I always joke around with him and everything with him and my best friend, Deanna, over the computer, but when it comes to actually hanging out.. it's a different story. While Deanna and I constantly are together, John only seems to want to talk to us when it's either conveniant for him, or when it's not in person.
