vintage or used clothes?

Question Posted Saturday November 4 2006, 10:52 am

I usually wear some abercrombie or american eagle type clothes but I want to have some more individual clothes in my wardrobe too. So I was wondering if 2nd hand stores like goodwill, value village, or places like that are good places to find unique shirts and accessories. I'm trying to fray away from preppy clothes, but I still want to be girl. Also are there any stores that aren't 2nd hand that have the things im looking for? thanks for you help! any advice at all is greatly appreciated

I'm not sure where you are from but if you are Canadian, check out Winners! Vintage style, popular, and unique clothing is sold there, and is vveerryy cheap.
If you are American, I would suggest Ross. This is similar to Winners, and you might have already been here, but you can find a lot of unique clothes here.

As far as I know, those second hand stores would be a great choice. But if you're looking for other places, I'd try more places like :
Wet Seal
Hot Topic (just take my word on that, lol)
And possibly even Forever 21.

And of course, Ebay would be a great place to look, since you can find just about anything on there!
=D

Value Village is a really good place to go. I go there all the time. The prices are cheap and the clothes are great. Different things coming each and everyday. I know for a fact that they do have brand names there because people donate them. They have stuff from places like American Eagle, Buffalo, Guess etc. So basically whaztever you're looking for is there. :)

hope this helps!

ok so it's true that alot of random thrift stores have crappy oversized clothes that make it obvious why theyre in a thrift store in the first place. But my friend JT used to be obsessed with those places and she's one of the girly-est people i know sometimes.
Then again, you can always go into a regular preppy kid store and buy things that look old and used and cost $300...whatever floats your boat.
