testicular aches

for the past week or so my balls have been aching slightly. its not that painful but it is worrying me. it comes and goes every now and then and sometimes i feel it one and then it moves to the other. ive never had sex before so i dont think its an std but i do want to know whats going on and how i can stop it.

any ideas?

Rather than take any medication for this, you should see your Dr. There's a couple of things that can cause this..infection for one. The doc won't think it's odd because this is a fairly common problem. Most of the time without treatment the symptoms you have described will only get worse and can even lead to hospitalization or emergency surgery that could cause the removal of your testicle. I'm not trying to scare you, but personally I know someone that had this happen.

If you are athletic it could very well be caused from not wearing an athletic supporter or an ill fitting one.

If you have abdominal pain along with it then go see a doctor. Don't want to mess with that testicular torsion.

I have heard doctors recommend advil for the pain. If it continues, get it checked out just in case. It may be an infection that a round of sntibiotics can fix. :)
