here lately i have gotten into cutting myself. bad. i mean i dont go deep or anything. i just pretty much break the skin. but its gotten bad. like its all i think about. i started saturday and i was like i wont do it anymore. well i did it again last night and then 3 times today. how can i stop? ive told 2 of my friends and they tell me i need to stop, which i know. but its hard. help me? please dont tell me to get counseling, cuz i cant tell my dad and i cant go.

Ok, im 13/f. I have a huge crush on my best guy friend. I trust him with everything except for I can't tell him that I like him. He thinks I like this one guy (all girls like him so its pretty normal) but I just can't stand it! So many people say we flirt all the time though I dont really notice it. He always smiles at me and when we talk we do like shove eachother for fun or playfully punch eachother's arm when we say something stupid. For some reason all I can think about is him lately and its killing me! I CAN'T tell him I like him, and lately he won't tell me who he likes. Losing Weight

I've been gaining alot of weight recently. I'm 5'10". I went to the doctor last spring and I was 145, then i went over the summer and I was 155, and earlier this week I went and now I'm 162. I haven't changed my eat habits and I've only been exercising more. I know that some of the weight gain is from my muscles, but all of my pants are too tight aorund the waist now. What can I do to lose some weight? I can't exercise anymore (I already swim for 2&1/2 hours a day). What are some good foods for me to eat?

okay. so this guy named Ryan.. liked me for sooo long.. and the whole time i just kinda strung him along.. and during the week i found out he was going out with this crackhead. so i told him about he doing drugs and stuff so he dumped her cause he doesnt like druggies. and i was happy.. and i didnt know why. well now he has another girlfriend and after all this time im realizing i have feelings for him. and i dont wanna tell him and me be the cause of a breakup if they do break up. so what do i do? grr. like i know if we went out we'd last cuz he's an amazing person and he thinks the same about me. goodness.. i need help.

ok im doin this art homework i hav and all i hav to do is draw 5 drawings with "value" in it. the problem is i don't get wat value is. my teacher showed me some examples of wat people drew and all i saw were people and faces but lookin in a sort of anime art style(with the really cool detailed eyes and hair)and i don't get wat value is. is it the shading or darkness of the color of somethin like that? any websites that have drawing like that might be helpful for me to understand and might help me come up wit an idea because im not really creative at all and i stink at art.

College and family problems

I recently was diagnosed with clinical depression.
I've had depression for years, but never sought out help for it.
I just started college in September, but things just kept getting worse for me.
I found a counselor over here on campus and she thought that my idea of going back home and coming back next year would be a great idea for me.
I could get used to anti-depressants (which I haven't been able to start yet, I don't have a doctor over here) and also so I could work out my problems.
My big problem is that I don't feel like I am being supported by anyone but my boyfriend and my 3 best friends.
My mom, dad and sister keep saying like a broken record that they want me to stay over here (I ...

I'm a teen and I want a boyfriend badly. I'm not desperate, its not like I go around begging for guys. I guess I'm inwardly desperate, lol. I don't want someone to make out with or even go farther; I just want someone to be able to talk to about anything, except different from a normal friend... I don't know, I can't explain it. I just want someone to be there for me. I have tons of friends, but only one I can really talk to about anything. I want someone to tell me they love me and really mean it. I've never had a boyfriend... I'm 14... Eye Contacts

I am a 15 years old girl and I wear glasses. I really want to wear contacts. My parents told me that I couldn't have them. But they tend to be persuaded when great effort is put forth. Its just I don't know what to tell them other than I don't like wearing glasses because the way they feel and look.[that isnt good enough for them;i already tried]
Here are some things about me that may help
