do it if your GOOD at it, and its INTERESTING
if its boring, and you arent that good at it, than dont do it
for example, if your good at singnig or piano, do it
if you suck at gymnastics, dont do it

Depends, whats your talent? I suppose if it is the usual singing, dancing, gymnastics, then people may be a little bored but still nice to see. If it is something unusual or requires a lot of training like Criss Angle style magic or contorsionism then definetly join. Are you stage shy? Do you choke? If so, then try and overcome this if you decide to.
Talent shows are great for if you are going into High School because it's something that you can put on your applications and if you win then it's a pretty big deal.

If you want to be in the talent show, do it. But do something thats actually talent. My grandbaby has one every year at her school and these children consider lip synching to a Hillary Duff song talent. Hillary doesn't even have talent. Do something interesting, original and fun.
