I was wondering if anyone had tips to get a clean shave around the pubic area?
I've never been able to have a smooth shave, I guess the hair's too coarse so it comes out so prickly, even right after I shave.
I use a Venus razor and skintimate gel, if that helps any.
I'd rather not wax, and I've heard Nair products don't work well, so...any suggestions?

For pubic areas, this is what I suggest. Use a shaving gel for Sensitive Skin. As far as razors go, I hate Venus. I know this sounds odd but the mens razors with 4 (or even 5!) blades work the best! You can find the women version of these razors, the only difference is the color. They work best because the blades are thinner and spaced closer together which gives a really clean shave and is easier on the skin.
As a percentage, how effective and reliable is the birth control pill against pregnancy?
I know it doesn't protect against STI's.
When it comes to birth control, there is no percentage because it's a chemical affect on your body and each body is different. However, if there was I would say it lay in the 80%. You see, birth control works by making your body think it is pregnant. Hence, less periods and LESS fertile eggs. You see the less is emphasized. There can still be fertile eggs which means you can still get pregnant.
i just had sex for the first time a few days ago (and have had it 2 more times since).
now it feels like every 10 minutes or so i have that feeling where i have to urinate really badly. when i do go, it burns really bad and hardly anything comes out. then it goes away and it'll come back like 10 minutes later.
idk if this is normal cause the only thing i can think of is the fact that i just lost my virginity.

This can be a symptom of a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) or a Yeast Infection. I would say it is a UTI though because they can SOMETIMES be triggered by sex. Usually UTI's are caused by bacteria however, every time I have one is because I held my pee for too long (over an hour..bad!). I suggest you drink tons of water and cranberry juice for the next few days which can help take it away. If it is not gone by then I suggest you go see a doctor because if it is caused by bacteria then it can cause problems.
How long does weed stay in your body? I need to know because last time I smoked was a few weeks ago and I'm going for a job interview soon and I also have an upcoming physical. Also, what can you do to get it out of your sytem? Thanks :]
It can stay in your system for up to 6 weeks, which is why people often get tester every 5-6 weeks. There is nothing you can do to get it out of your system, if it was possible, don't you think there would be less drug convictions?
all of my relatives have had and lived or are living with or died of cancer. iv been to so many funerals an i hate myself cause i can't even cry at them i think its not use. iv ben dealing with it my whole life but i just don't know what to do anymore its crushing me. now my mom thinks i may have cancerous mole but she doesnt wana scare me cause iv been having an extremely hard time lately. i also have a brown bump on my nipple.. iv had it for a very long time but its just getting bigger little by little n its kinda freakin me out. is that cancer to? what do i do, i really don't wana go to the hospital, for many reasons, one being i kinda ben skipping it bc theyve ben doing all these different testings on me but not having to do with cancer. i dont wana go back for one that they go in and look threw me, they did alot of blood and weird rays tests. idk what to even think or do anymore but i dont wana go. :( btw im 14 female
Whenever you are at risk of cancer- the sooner the better. It's always hard to face something that you have seen kill others but if it is found early, for instance a cancerous mole, it can be treated or removed and take away more of the risk of getting cancer and having it spread throughout your body. We have such great technology now which can help detect and reduce the risk of cancer and I suggest you put your fears aside and get tested or your life can be at even more risk.
Hey i feel so embarrassed here but i really need your help... i am 19 years old 20 in December and i cant have sex...i have a boyfriend that is really understanding and helpful we are together nearly one year but i don't expect him to stay around and wait for me. Last year i was diagnosed with P.O.F(Premature Ovarian Failure). I feel that i am not normal but i really do try to have sex. The pain is unreal when we are about to have sex. I get totally embarrassed and just turn away i dont know what to do?
When i was 16 years of age i was forced to have sex with two older men. I am wondering could this be affecting me now??? I am to afraid to mention this to my doctor.

Although what happened to you is a tragedy, and may have affected you mentally, I don't think the physical pain has anything to do with it. Talk to your doctor about any type of pain medication you can use so that you can have sex. I know it seems a little extreme but if it is something you want to do, you should look into it. Also, have you tried oral sex? You and your boy friend can "give" and "receive" and nothing has to actually enter your vaginal track. Oral sexual stimulation can all be achieved around the clitoris area.
This is really embarrassing so please bear with me.
I have had a big bump (the size of a bean) on my butthole for a great while now. When I go poo, it hurts really bad because my poo is kind of big and it irritates the bump. This sounds a lot like hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids isn't a decease or sickness, don't worry. It's just like blisters which cluster inside or around your hole. They sell hemorrhoid cream just about everywhere. I suggest you try some, see if it goes away. A popular hem. cream is Preparation H.

Pretty much.
REAL vintage is from past decades. So the only way you can get them is from trade/used clothing stores such as Wasteland (famous amount LA, SF.) But there are plenty around. However there are also second hand stores that aren't vintage such as Crossroads.
Clothing can be sold currently that resemble vintage wear depending on how much of that fashion decade they resemble. You can put together outfits that look vintage by mimicking that style.

Although preparing early is key, you cannot prepare until you enter high school because once you enter high school you can make perspective schedules/classes you want to take, clubs you want to join, etc. However I go to Brown and I started preparing in 10th grade but this is what I did. (Brown is also quite prestigious)
Classes/Grades:
Ivy leagues especially (which Yale is) requires to you take certain classes and meet a specific grade. This means 4 years of math, english, 3 laboratory sciences, 3 years of languages, 2 years of an elective, 3 years of history. Take honors classes 10th-12 grade (9th grade isn't necessary unless you want something a little more challenging.) Colleges like Yale want to see you take the most rigorous courses possible. This means that once AP classes are offered (unless you go to an IB school) TAKE THEM! AP classes boost your GPA, meaning that if your normal GPA without AP classes was 3.83 then with one AP class you could be a 4.2 (depending on your schools rating system on AP classes.) AP classes are also more difficult, infact they are college level classes this shows the college that you are prepared in this class and you don't have to repeat it in college so it makes your college corse load lighted. Don't overwhelm yourself with AP classes, even one is fine! Once you're done with an AP class you will need to take the AP exam for that subject and recieve at least a 4 on it for it to be considered for college credits.
PSAT/SAT:
In 10th grade you will take the PSAT. Don't study for it! Just take it when it's offered. Then, depending on the score you you get on your PSAT and how difficult you thought the PSAT was start studying for the SAT test. The SAT test is what colleges use to determine much of your academic abilities. The higher you score the better. Get books such as the Princeton Review SAT to help you study for the SAT and give you examples questions. Then you can take practice tests to see how good you are and how much you may need to improve. (As of right now an SAT score that Yale would look for, would be about 2100 out of 2400. This is a difficult score to obtain without practice. The SAT is ALL ABOUT PRACTICE.) Later on your high school you may want to enter some SAT Prep classes.
Extra-Curricular:
Colleges like seeing students who are intrigued with learning as well as students who have hobbies and talents. Many people load up on a huge range of extra-curricular's but this is actually a downfall. You want your extra-curricular's to look cohesive. So join clubs and take classes that you would actually enjoy and that are all somewhat related to each other. Also you want Volunteer work (not community service. you don't want the volunteer work to be mediatory, you want it to be VOLUNTARY). Throughout your 4 years in highschool do something around the lines of 75 hours. Which is not much at all.

If you choose south beach then I suggest you go to Borders ot Barnes and N. and buy their book so you can have a list of all the food you can eat during each phase. I don't know it by memory. However for salads you can only have fat free/sugar free dressings or just vinegar and olive oil. You cannot have fried chicken, you can have boiled or grilled though.
Another quick diet thing that works is what i call the 5 day smash. I use it before I have to go to like an important event, party. For 5 days only you can't have any fatty foods, sugar, sodas, carbs. For instance you can eat this: cottage cheese, plain low far/fat free yogurt, boiled eggs, water, black coffee, tea, boiled chicken breast, salmon/tuna out of the can (this eliminates frying it and adding fats and oils), grilled chicken, salads with vinegar and olive oil dressing. This works but it's EXTREMELY difficult. And you might gain it all back... so there is a downside. It's only good for if you need to meet a weight for something.
As far as exercise goes, the more you do it, especially with a really high in protein diet like south beach then it will really speed up the results but it's not necessary because you might get dizzy because you're not eating tons of fat. I excercizes like 3 days a week. 20 minutes on the eliptical or terdmill and then 20 minutes of muscle workouts. Various types of crunches (legs up, legs to the side, legs straight down, normal), pushups, leg lifts for inner and outter thighs, and 5 pound weight bicept, tricept, and back excercizes. I barely broke a sweat but it worked.
honestly what does it take to get into an ivy league school, and what are the chances of getting in? anyone who is attending an ivy league college - what exactly did you do to get in? what AP classes did you take and when did you start taking them? how high were your grades and SAT scores? what extracurriculars and community service did you take part in? what was your class rank?

I got into Brown and Yale, I currently go to Brown. They are both Ivy. I applied for 3 reaches, those being Brown, Yale, and NYU (which isn't Ivy and not as good as the other two, and I didn't get in!)
Take it from me - Ivy is very unpredictable.
For starters...
You need at least a 3.83, minimum. And although there are many factors how you get accepted and many people will argue the fact that you don't need a 3.83 they don't realize that 90% of everyone accepted to Ivy's have higher than a 3.83. (Most have 4.3's. I had a 4.3. I suggest you shoot for a 4.0)
SAT scores NEED to be high, because on a scale someone who gets high grades and low SAT scores means they are taking easy classes. So you want your SAT score to be approx. 2100 (out of 2400) to match what a majority of the Ivy league students had when they took the SAT. (However, Hardvard you need a 2200) I had a 2120 but I spend like 4 grand on SAT prep courses and tutors which totally paid off.
I started taking AP classes in 11th grade because they weren't offered in 10th. However at museums they sometimes offer AP Art History courses and you can always find outside AP classes to take that are acceptable as a concurrent enrollment and you can talk to your counselor about adding the grade you receive in that course onto your report card so your GPA will be higher. I took AP English classes in 11th and 12th, AP History in 11th and 12th, AP Macrobiotics in 12th. It was a very difficult course load. I suggest only taking two (once science/math and one english/history if you can. if you can't then take whichever two are offered that you can get into.)
I went to an art high school so 2 hours everyday i would do the art that i auditioned to get into the school for. I went for visual art so most of my extra curricular had to do with that. I also did volleyball and worked at the school library. We had to do 100 hours of volunteer work for graduation so I put that on there. But I actually started the volunteer organization at my school which most people signed up for and then several times a month like 30 of us would do volunteer things so that was a biggie. My class rank was in the top 10%.

how do people get their foundation or concealer (w/e i dont really know the difference) to stay on their face so smooth? do people wax their face first? b/c on some people makeup looks too fake and on others it appears to be natural how their skin has no flaws whatsoever.
What makes makeup look so good is the primer someone uses. A primer is a type of lotion you put on your face before you use makeup. Ones that work the best and give the prettiest results should/do cover your pores, fine lines, and make the foundation and coverup stick to your skin evenly (no cake face). Go to Sephora and ask for their best one.

If you did that, you would go into a food shock because you're not eating anything but protein and your body will loose most of its stamina because you will have no calories to get energy off of.
If you really want something full-proof then do either the South Beach Diet or Atkins. I guarantee you will loose atleast 10 pounds if not more. I've done both and both are difficult and work very well. However, when you do these types of diets the first 5 pounds are just water. Go to their websites or read their diet books so you know what to do. If you need help following any of them, just send me a private questions.
How good is a 2160 on the SAT?
That is a very good score alone. Just to put this into perspective if you want to go to say, Harvard, you need a 2200.

I'm sorry for being so blunt to the advice below but I don't think someone would ever consider Wet Seal or Khols to be fashionable.
Sequins aren't really in right now, not saying that they are ugly but more like metallics are in but not on mini skirts on dresses and hand bags. I suggest you look at the following stores, some things are pricy other things are fair prices:

i heard that if you count the days from your period and have sex on a specific day then you cannot get pregnant because there is no egg in there to fertilise...if so how do you do this?

Everyone who answered this knows nothing! When you ovulate it means that eggs ready to be fertilized are in your uterus. Knowing when you are ovulating can help to plan getting pregnant but it cannot help you plan when to not have sex because the duration it takes for sperm to reach your eggs varies and sperm and eggs that are ready to be fertilized can live up to 3 days.
I have trouble concentrating.
It takes me forever to do homework because I always get distracted and start doing something else.
It wasn't always like this, it started pretty recently. Within the last year. But I've always been a procrastinator.
Ridding the area of distractions doesn't work, I WILL find something to distract me.
Any tips on how to concentrate better?
It actually might not have to do anything with learning to concentrate better (of course, there are things you can do to do that). But if this isn't a recent thing you might have A.D.D or A.D.H.D the only difference between the two is that ADHD means that you have to get up every 15 minutes and do something active like run around. ADD/ADHD means Attention Deficit Disorder where you cannot concentrate or keep your attention on one thing for a period of time.

DO NOT eat horrible calorie filled foods and do not eat all the time.
Eating to many calories and fatty foods is never goods for anyone. You can get very sick, you can break out, your body can go into sugar shock, you can get allergic reactions, etc.
Eating all the time is also bad because you can start to bloat, you can become constipated, and even worse things can happen.
Eat like you have been however, after every meal give yourself a dessert. Switch up your portions, meaning, instead of eating more protein and veggies eat more potatoes etc.

You would have to loose approximately 5 pounds a month, or 1.5 pounds per week.
This is a very reasonable goal.
As for specific diets all of the following work and will show the results you want, however some are more difficult than others: South Beach (difficult), Atkinds (difficult), Weight Watchers (not very difficult however may take longer to show a difference on the scale).
Any and all exersizes will help. It's all about movement and muscle workouts!
-Drink water, no more sodas or fruit juices. Just stay away from any drink with tons of sugar in it.
-Most green veggies actually give negative calories such as celery! Celery has very little calroies but by the time you chew it all up you've already burned them all, and then some.
-Nonfat/Fat free yogurts are loaded with protein and have very little sugar.
-Lowfat/Fat free string cheese has protein and no sugar.
- Sugar free and fat free jello and pudding! No fat, no sugar, and very minimul calories, I think the jello only has 10 and pudding 40.

Fast weight losses usually always come back. However, these ideas have worked for me in the past and were very fast results.
Atkins diet: very difficult to stick to. If you are very overweight and never been on a diet you will probably loose a pound a day, if not more. And depending on whether you exercise it can be more then 2 pounds.
South Beach: SAME AS ABOVE.
no exersize will give you fast results like those above, however, paired with minimal muscle workouts and a diet plan like south ebach/atkins you will get results and fast.
