Everyone who answered this knows nothing! When you ovulate it means that eggs ready to be fertilized are in your uterus. Knowing when you are ovulating can help to plan getting pregnant but it cannot help you plan when to not have sex because the duration it takes for sperm to reach your eggs varies and sperm and eggs that are ready to be fertilized can live up to 3 days. ]

This basically explains it.
It really is not a suffiecent means of birth control. Sperm can live in the vagina up to several days so you can still get pregnant. Use a condom everytime to be safe. ]
There is something called the rhythm method that can help a women figure out if she is LESS LIKELY or more likely to get pregnant at a given time in the month.
It's not perfect, at all, you can still get pregnant even if the method tells you that you are less likely too at that time.
Relying on the rhythm method is a damn good way to get pregnant.
Basically: It sucks. Use condoms.
Only condoms protect you from pregnancy and almost all STD's. There are no other easy solutions that are as reliable. Use condoms and the pill to be extra safe.
Google 'rhythm method contraception' will give you more details. I won't tell you how to use this method here because THIS METHOD IS INEFFECTIVE. USE CONDOMS. ]
No.. That's not true at all. ]
that is so far from the truth.
and never listen to 'i heard' advice. ]
