is it true that if you eat nothing but eggs and exercise that youll loose alot of weight? like eggs make you loose weight?
i want to loose about 15 pounds by spring break in like a month and 3 weeks. please tell me ways to do that!! and food to eat that will help me loose weight!
If you really want something full-proof then do either the South Beach Diet or Atkins. I guarantee you will loose atleast 10 pounds if not more. I've done both and both are difficult and work very well. However, when you do these types of diets the first 5 pounds are just water. Go to their websites or read their diet books so you know what to do. If you need help following any of them, just send me a private questions. xomegaroni answered Wednesday February 13 2008, 8:55 am: That's not true at all and completely unhealthy. Eating one food for weeks at a time is a really dangerous thing to do. Your body needs a variety of nutrients. Not just eggs. Plus, too many of one thing isn't good for your body. Think about this. If you eat only eggs for a few weeks, what's going to happen when you go back to eat regular foods? You're going to gain weight. Try exercising for at least an hour a day and drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated. Here are a few examples of good foods you should eat:
-Whole grains
-100% fruit juices
-Any fruits & veggies
-Granola bars
-Salads
-Lean meats such as chicken and turkey
-Low fat cheeses/yogurts
-Nuts
When you're deciding what to buy, watch the food labels. Look at calories, grams of fat/grams of saturated fat, sugar, and sodium. You're still growing so as long as you don't over-eat and take in enough fruits/veggies and exercise, you should lose a few lbs. Don't go overboard though and definitely don't just eat eggs. Not one food helps you lose weight. Changing your diet and cutting out junk food here and there may help though.
