I'm currently 163lbs and 5'5.
I want to get down to 130-137lbs.
I have 7 months to do this.
I'm looking for ideas along the lines of:
- Specific diets
- Excersizes
- Low calorie TASTY food

You would have to loose approximately 5 pounds a month, or 1.5 pounds per week.

This is a very reasonable goal.
As for specific diets all of the following work and will show the results you want, however some are more difficult than others: South Beach (difficult), Atkinds (difficult), Weight Watchers (not very difficult however may take longer to show a difference on the scale).

Any and all exersizes will help. It's all about movement and muscle workouts!

-Drink water, no more sodas or fruit juices. Just stay away from any drink with tons of sugar in it.
-Most green veggies actually give negative calories such as celery! Celery has very little calroies but by the time you chew it all up you've already burned them all, and then some.
-Nonfat/Fat free yogurts are loaded with protein and have very little sugar.
-Lowfat/Fat free string cheese has protein and no sugar.
- Sugar free and fat free jello and pudding! No fat, no sugar, and very minimul calories, I think the jello only has 10 and pudding 40.

Heres a great diet
-Fruit in the mornings
-Salads at lunch
-Baked meats and veggies at dinner
-Yogurt in between for snacks
-Wheat bread
-Try to substitute Soda and Kool-aid, Or punch, With Fruit Juice. AND Hawaiian Punch is not fruit juice!!!

Try to cut Back on some dairy like whole milk and fatty cheeses.
Low fat dressings on your salads.
Most sauces have lots of oil, so make sure your light on the sauces.
Anything grilled or baked Is great
Try to get away from pork.

All this can work for you but you have to exercise too. You cant just expect the weight to fall of by eating right. Crunches. Sit ups. Jogging. Do a little each day. Whatever your body feels comfortable doing. Dont over do it. Drink water!! Keep yourself Hydrated!! Thats important!!
