Healthy Diet

I would like some advice on what I should eat because I'm planning on going on a diet... I know some things I should avoid already like junk food, which isn't a problem. What else can I do to not slow down my metabolism and possibly gain more energy? I'm planning to lose maybe 20-30 pounds and I already have a way to exercise. I just need to know what things I can or should eat. Thanks in advance.

Birthday

It's my 17th birthday coming up on 20th Jan, and i'm not sure what to do to "celebrate" it. Last year I had a limo party but that was because it was my "sweet sixteen", and i've had house parties, cinema parties and bowling parties before in the past, so i've kinda run out of ideas.
My friends say I should just go cinema again but there's nothing really on that I want to see.
And my boyfriend says that he'll take me out somewhere but he wants me to choose where and again I have no idea.
Please help, I need all the suggestions I can get and i'm running out of time :-|

This is sort of a dumb question,but curiosity has gotten the best of me.
What was the first time that the word fuck was used in a recording?I've noticed that in "We Can Be Good Together" by Jefferson Airplane,they say "tear down the wall,motherfucker".I don't recall hearing it anywhere prior to this,so was this it?

15f. I met a guy at a party who I liked at the time and wanted to hook up with, and I didn't tell him, but he told me he doesn't hook up with girls because he doesn't want his parents to find out. Now he calls me every so often and we have long conversations, and he tells me that asking this one girl out was the biggest mistake of his life. He and I flirted a lot at the party, which was about two and a half months ago, and grinded. Do you think he might like me? What should I do about it? I kind of still like him. He's not hot but he's very cuddly.

This guy has been well mean/flirty? to me, since the sixth grade, and I find it cute.
But I dont know if he really is just being mean, or if he likes me.

I have a friend, who I'll call Dan. Dan asked me out on a date over the summer and I said yes. I took it a little too far (I thought he was my boyfriend) and he said a few weeks later "Just because I asked you out doesn't mean we're going out). We didn't talk for a while but a few months ago we became friends again. We talk all the time. However, my sister hates him and doesn't want me to see him. He and I never get to meet up because he lives kind of far away and because when there's a midpoint, my sister has to be with me and they can't stand each other. He's 17 and afraid to drive on highways, so he can't drive to me, and I can't drive yet because I'm only 15. My sister said that if I ever hook up with him, she'll be extremely upset...

my dog, [westie] is acting weird.. like she has this stuff animal, that she like loves [she doesnt do anything like gross with it, she just like watches it, & sits with it.] & she'll stay there all day. & then she ALWAYS sleeps with me at night.. & she hasnt for 2 days. I don't get whats up with her.. what do i do? has your dog ever done this?

Ok im starting year 10 this year and everyone i know already knows wat they want to do when they grow up. Everytime we have a conversation about jobs and careers i just sit there and pretend i dont exist. When i was younger i wanted to be a million things and now i have no idea what i want to do. I was thinking of being a doctor but i cant stand blood. I want to help people. I really love animals and its really horrible when i see them hurt so i thought of being a veterinarian but the whole blood thing again..2 of my aunties, my uncle, my cousins and my sister are teachers but i cant really see myself as one. I like art and music [[dont want to be a musician]] and animals. is there like a website of jobs? i need help!!! im so confused >.<

I want to ask you if you think my friend is anorexic. I never met her due to the fact that she was my online college professor (I took online courses) - but we became telephone and pen pals. Tonight I was talking to her about the models whose bones stick out and how the modeling world is tryng to stop that and how some of the models are anorexic and one even died recently. And her remark: You can never be to rich or to thin; MY QUESTION: IS that anorexic thinking.
