thelaura answered Sunday January 14 2007, 9:26 am: Getting your tragus pierced will hurt for a few days only if that - and the pain isn't strong. It's more of a throbbing sensation. But if you accidentally knock it (whilst sleeping!) it can hurt a little, but soon subsides.
But the key thing here, as you know:
EVERYONE has a different tolerance to pain!
So you will only know, once you have it done.
But I advise you to go for it if you like it.

middle of ear = about the same as it feels to get your cartilage peirced. maybe a tiny bit worse because the cartilage there is thicker.
