Snowboarding trip!

I'm going snowboarding/skiing next weekend for the first time, and i was wondering if anyone had any tips to help me be more prepared. Like, what should i wear? my main concern is pants. I don't really have any that i think would be good for snowboarding. Jeans don't really seem like a good idea. any suggestions? I'd like to avoid buying a lot of stuff, but if its neccessary, thats okay. i'm only going for 2 days, so it shouldn't be too big a deal. I just want to focus more on having fun than freezing to death. thanks!

I have this assignment for my English class (related to Cyrano, if you've ever read it) where I have to somehow obtain 9 insults.
I've come up with one:
If Vogue ever does an ugly issue, you'd be on the front cover.
I am having a really hard time with these. If anyone can help, please do!
Oh, and no "your mom" jokes, and no fat jokes.
Please help; I've actually put in hours of sitting in front of a blank page.

Cultural Differences

I am 15 years old and I have a wonderful boyfriend just that my parents do not know. The reason why I can't tell them is because me being Nigerian I must date Africans only, but he is white and I am so confused because he thinks that I'm do not trust him because I never introduced him to my parents but he has introduced his parents to me. The problem is that I know my Dad will not approve and my Mom just agrees with him and I have to lie to them that I'm meeting my friends at the mall to go out wit him and I hate lying to them. I have no reason for them not to trust me because I am really smart and always been good so I really need help.

I'm 15/F. I'm really crushing on a guy who's also 15. I've known him for 10 years now, give or take, and our relationship has been made up mostly of him teasing me.
I never really saw him as much else than "that guy who teases me a lot". Then about a week ago, I started liking him all of a sudden. But the problem is, now that I like him, I have no idea what to say to him! I really want to talk to him & such, but whenever I try I get really nervous and I can't come up with a good excuse to talk to him. If I do, then I come up with something really stupid. I actually talked to him about the weather...
I don't want to appear too obvious. =[

my boyfriend is turning 18 on the 9th and i dont know what i should get him.
im thinking about making him cookies that are heart shaped and he keeps telling me that he already got what he wanted[me] but i told him that that didnt count.
but i just need some suggestions from a few guys or maybe girls because i really dont know what i should get him. =[

Hi,
I've just discovered that two of my friends take mitdol and when i asked one of my friends what it was and what it did she looked at me like i was freaking phsyco and she was like umm..what do you take. And I just kinda sat there..like..um nothing? and she just thought i was crazy. so my question is what is mitdol and why are my friends taking it? should i take it? I mean i hear then complin aobut cramps and all that other crap but i never really get that.

it's my boyfriend of 8 month's birthday on feb 1 he's turning 17 so he's getting his license.. what are some good ideas to get him not related to his car ( he's so into cars he's got about everything for it) like where are fun places we could go to spend his birthday just the two of us? and some good gifts since christmas just passed haha thankss!

I took an IQ test a few minutes ago over the internet and my score was 125. I realize this is pretty good, but would it be more accurate (and higher) if I was 18+ ? I am only 15.

I'm getting my tonsils out on February 15th. The day after that is a half day at my school, so I won't miss any school. Then I have the whole week off after that for winter break and I go back to school on February 26th. I think the doctor said it should be better by two weeks after they are removed, but he said my throat will still hurt for a few days after. The thing is, I'm in chorus and singing would just make it hurt worse. So what do I do about that? On the 28th my grade is going on a field trip and I really want to go, but I don't want to be uncomfortable. We've already payed and everything, so I'm going. Is there anything I can do while I'm there to relieve the pain in my throat so I'm not miserable for a whole week away from home?

alright, so my ex boyfriend. i'm completely over him. well he has a new girlfriend and they've been going out for like, idk 8, 9 months? but in the hallways, when i walk past the, its like they maul eachother and start kissing and it seems like they're trying to make me jealous. i'm not paranoid either. other people have noticed this too. they'll see me coming and just start making out. it's disgusting and i just look right past them. his girlfriend used to be nice to me, but she's the really jealous type. she's such a bitch now. if she walks past me, she'll just look at my blankly but it's like a death stare, then she'll look away. she always talks to people around me, but compeltely ignores me. i mean, it's not like i want attention, but ...

University of Texas at Austin

15/f (freshman). I'm thinking of going to the University of Texas at Austin to get a degree from the business school there. I'm from Texas, and Texas high school students are automatically admitted into any state school if they are in the top ten percent of their class. My class ranking is 7 out of 355, and when I took the OLD SAT in the seventh grade, I made a 1110. My unweighted GPA is 4.0, and my weighted GPA is 4.3. I'm involved in various extracurriculars. I was wondering, if any of you have experience with UT or any state school, if I continue like this throughout high school, in your opinion, should I be able to succeed at the UT business school? Thanks.

I can only count on myself for happiness. I have ONE friend and that's it. I used to be one of the stuck up, bitchy, ultra-popular girls but I decided I would rather be nice to people than look down on them.
Ever since I left them and tried to make friends, people have been looking down on ME and treating me horribly. I sit at home every weekend doing nothing.
I have exhausted my "new friend" options and am too involved with a select few sports and clubs to get any new hobbies.
Does this ever end? Any last advice? I know the easiest advice to give is "just be yourself", "make new friends" or "join a club" but really, it hasn't worked or ...
