So for my birthday I got a sewing machine, i'm happy because I wanted one! I know the basics of sewing like how to make pillows and how to thread the machine and stuff. But thats the bad part, I only know how to make pillows. My dad for part of my present also went out and got me all this stuff for making a pattern we bough in the rag shop. It's to make like this tote bag. I thought it was going to be really beginner friendly and all, but they say all this stuff in the instructions and when I looked at the papers it was so confusing it was like in another language. I feel bad because my parents spent all this money. How can I learn how to sew and do patterns??

14/f. my 15th birthday is this weekend and i was planning on doing something with a few friends (like 4). i was planning on going sledding, and then maybe back to my house for a little and hang out. I live in ohio, and we just got a ton of snow. but, just incase, if sledding doesnt work out, (like it gets too cold or somehow the snow melts or something)what else could we do?

If I type in fiolex girls in there will it actually work? if it does, will only I see it and everyone who comes to that page sees a diff font since it's from my computer and they don't have that font??

digital camera help.

my kodak digital camera is being weird. when i turn it on the screen says the kodak logo thing like normal, and then the screen turns black and it shuts off..but the batteries arent dead because ive changed them so many times to make sure that wasnt the problem. help?

Can you put any type of lotion/body lotion, on your face? or is it just for the body? My face is really dry from using acne medicine a lot so I want to mosturize it but I get oily skin a lot and right after I wash my face too so I don't want it to get more oily

A lot more male attention

Recently I've noticed that I've been receiving a lot more male attention than I used to. At first I thought that it was because I was a lot more flirtatious, but yesterday a really hot guy started talking to me before I even said anything. I lost some weight and I look pretty good, but I was wearing a huge down jacket, so this guy could only see my face, which has been described as pretty in a different way. So did I suddenly get better looking or am I releasing a different vibe? I don't get it.

slim legs

What can I do to get slimer thighs in the upper area? I'm skinney but I got a lot of fat in my upper leg I could say because if I walk in my underwear or in anything I can feel that fat in my legs jiggling! Here's a picture of an example of the legs I want (any example would do like celebs that don't have fat in their legs) and I don't have a webcam or scanner or anything so I tried my best at drawing my leg.

Anything about ugly knees either? I sit down a lot so my knee is really ugly looking but it's mostly from school, you can't say I want a chair and other students can't get one or it would be unfair.

ok well about3 weeks ago me and my boyfriend boke up(btw 14/f) adn since then, he hasnt tlaked to me adn we cant start a decent conversaion. this is exxacctly why i didnt want to start anything to begin with, becasue i knew it would end up bad.. we use to be the bestestr of friends.

I'm trying to go on this student travel thing, it is for high schoolers, you go to a different country and do community service for a month over the summer. I need two teacher recomendations.
i'm going to ask my advisor, but i need someone else. I really want to ask my english teacher, she is awesome, she is my favorite teacher. but... I do very well in that class, i'm a good writer, but one of the questions that she would have to answer on the reccomendation sheet is the students mood, social-ness. And a lot of times I come into that class kind of quiet and i look sad. i need to send my crush an email (not expressing my feelings for him) just wishing him happy cday in a cute (or funny) way, what should i say?
my friends told me he's afraid of emotions and he pushes people away as soon as they show that they care, so i dont wanna be like "happy vday, im thinking about you!" or anything.. id rather make it really funny and FRIENDLY so it cant be interpreted than anything but a FRIENDHSIP note (event though i like him as more than a friend!)

ok well, im pretty much fine with the way i look and such, and im pretty skinny, but my ribs are kind of chunky, haha, well, i have my ribs then it caves in to where my stomach goes and its really weird looking. people are always telling me that it looks like im sucking it in, but im not. is there a certain way i can do crunches to target the upper part of my abs and ribs? and i dont need everyone just saying that you cant just target one part of your body to exercise, because crunches obviously are targeting your abs.
