ribs

Question Posted Wednesday February 14 2007, 2:27 pm

ok well, im pretty much fine with the way i look and such, and im pretty skinny, but my ribs are kind of chunky, haha, well, i have my ribs then it caves in to where my stomach goes and its really weird looking. people are always telling me that it looks like im sucking it in, but im not. is there a certain way i can do crunches to target the upper part of my abs and ribs? and i dont need everyone just saying that you cant just target one part of your body to exercise, because crunches obviously are targeting your abs.

Well, exercising could help you out. Doing crunches or anything that could help you gain muscle could make your ribs less visible.

There is no way you can reduce the size of your ribs. They are bones, and working out wont help that. Your ribs are perfect for your body, but I think its your body that is to small. It sounds like you are so thin that no fat covers your ribs, giving it the apperance of chunky ribs.

Talk to your doctor. Does he or she think you are underweight? If so, you should be looking to gain weight. Body issues might be behind this.

crunches, situps, push ups are always good.

if your not 'fat' anywhere else, you don't need to excersise everywhere else, well, not necessarily.
because basically, your just toning your abs.

so i would suggest like.. 60-80 crunches a day, and maybe 20 pushups.

hope i helped :)
