I've never had a real boyfriend nor have I had my first kiss yet. I'm a really attractive, smart girl, and I'm not weird. I just haven't been given the opportunity. I've tried twice to create opportunities for myself to get a boyfriend, but it never worked out. It is not my first priority, so I never really TRIED to get a boyfriend.
However, I was recently talking to someone, and she explained that I cannot be afraid of getting hurt. It's better to get hurt sooner rather than later, and it's really changed my point of view. I know and criticize girls for acting stupidly and thinking that a guy likes her when he doesn't, but they're just blinded. I thought that I could learn from their mistakes, but...

soo me and my ex havent talked in about a month in a half.

my boyfriend of nearly two years was a total ass to me ever since i got mad at him when he cheated on me so i eventually broke up with him. its ben over a month and i should be getting better by now.. i was totally over him and fully better i even went on two dates, until i listened to a song my ex did guitar and sang for on recording which i wrote the lyrics, so i broke and cried so hard. i havent written any music since we broke up maybe five weeks ago, which writing was everything to me along with painting. he even still has my three best paintings at his house im to akward about it to ask for them back..
how can i get over him better? i know the usual stuff but what else could i do??

My boyfriend broke up with me out of no where.He said the reason for our break up was because he was "getting sick of me,we were around eachother way to much and he needed space and he started seeing me like a friend and that he doesn't like me as much as he used to"then he said that he swears on his life im the most amazing girl he's ever met. So im in a long distance relationship.
my boyfriend goes to school about 350 miles away.
now, you know how the smallest things matter in a long distance relationship?
when we video chat, he actually ignores me. hes a car fanatic, so hes on his stupid car websites seaching stuff for his stupid car. watching youtube videos of his car, he talks to his roommate (who is in the room 24/7) about cars.
i mean come on.... seriously? me being ignored caused me to get so heated... so i havent videochatted him in 2 weeks. i refuse.

Last Tuesday my boyfriend of a year and 2 months broke up with me. But, the day after he spoke to me and said how depressed he has been all day and he only wants a break for a while. I agreed with this - but this has got to be the most hardest thing I've ever gone through, he doesn't even know if we will get back together or not. One of the reasons why he did this is because I never show how happy he makes me an I'm just always sad when I'm around him. I've just been thinking all this time and I know I can do all the things he's told me htat I don't do. theres a guy i really like and he likes me but whenever he asks me to be his girl i honestly dont know why i refuse. we have been dating for a month but i dont see us as becoming a couple. i dont know why. he is a year younger and his parents are very controlling i havent been on a date without his parents there... its so akward. hes a bit sheltered and iv never ben sheltered even as a kid. what can i do. i want to try it, iv kissed him and when out a bit i just dont know though... any ideas?

the guy im dating's kisses are pretty gross, he is alot bigger than me and he slobbers from my chin to over my nose its pretty bad.. i told him follow my lead, close ur mouth, just relax and all that kind of stuff but he doesnt seem to really get it. how can i teach him or show him how. i already give tips sweetly as we kiss, and i do hold through even though its very gross on my part and to be nice. its to the point i move away from a simple peck kiss pretty quick because i dont want him to start that.. but haha any advice??

I am a 26 year old female... Ok here goes... About two weeks ago I met a guy... We started talking on the phone and that following Friday we went out to a resteraunt... And afterwards he took me home and that was that... So the nextday he called and we talked heavy all day on the phone... I found out things about him and him me... And what I really liked was the fact that he was ten years older so quite naturally I felt that he was ready to settle down... So last night,in a nutshell my boyfriend of 3 months broke up with me.I know it wasn't that long of a time period,but it was the longest relationship I've ever had because I've never had one before! He's never had a serious one like me either. I haD been dating the same guy for over two years. recently in december we broke it off because we had a terrible thing going. we loved each other more than anything but we fought like crazy. Well me(32) and my boyfriend(34) have been together for a little over a year and the last I'd say... 2 not quite 3 months he hasn't been as "in to me" like he was. Ok, this is the situation. We lived almost 100 miles apart, he lives in austin, I live in San Antonio, Tx. Well, I would go to austin every weekend and sometimes stay until tuesday and we wouldn't be able to keep out hands off each other. Well here recently I moved to Austin pretty much with him. He's got alot going on that I know are important to him and he's got to get done. What I dont understand is nothing has changed except my moving here. so why is he not showing me the same attention? How do I get his attention back just a little bit? Should I move back to S.A and give him his space back?

My boyfriend has recently started talking to an ex girlfriend of his. I could see them talking for long periods of time when they first got in touch with eachother, but she calls him all day and texts him all hours of the morning. She's even sent pictures of herself to him. When I ask him questions about her he gets mad and tells me to get out of his face. Recently he started locking his phone. He's told me they are just friends, but he's lied about a conversation they had for over 2 hours while he was golfing. I know that this girl has feelings for him, but could he be having feelings for her too. I don't know what they talk about when I'm not there. Now when she calls he doesn't answer her calls if I'm there. Should I be concerned? We've been together for 4 years.
