Digital camera

Normally, I can get my photos uploaded from my Digital camera.
The model is a Vivicam 4345, 4.0 megapixel.
The computer cant reconise that the USB is plugged in, I have the lead plugged into the USB port, and into my camera, my camera is switched to settings and has been tuned on, yet when I go to 'My Computer' the 'removable hardwear' icon isnt there, so I cant transfer my files
Please help!!

Okay so my story is; Steven and I had been dating for a year and a Month. We then broke up an decided to go on a break due to him wanting to expierence stuff that I normally wouldn't approve of, For Instance Club and Drinking. Well it had been 5monthes on April 7. Ok, on the weekend I had my 2 best guy mates over and my best girl mate. I've known for a long time that one of my guy mates who I will call Ben likes me and if I was single I would probably like him back. But I have a boyfriend. So I had them over and my girly friend and the other guy went off and Ben went and lied down on my mum's bed coz he was feeling sick(we were all very drunk). I went and lied with him because I was bored with no-one to talk to. We fell asleep in the early hours after a nice talk. How can I deal with it

Someone who I trusted so completely, who I could tell anyting too, and I adored with every fiber of my being told me that she doesn't care about me anymore, or how I feel. We faught occaisionally, but all friends do. But these past few weeks thats all we had been doing, so I told her how I felt. Everytime we faught it was because my opinion wasn't the same as her which meant: I was ignorant, I didn't know anything about the world, and of course I was wrong. I'm so tired of being always wrong, especially when its just an opinion or belief. I wrote a long letter explaining how I felt..begging her to treat me right. motivation & soccer

how do you get yourself motivated to do something? i really want to get on my middle school's soccer team next year. the A team, not the B team. I didnt even get on the team last season, during my first year of middle school. (In my school, we only have sports in middle school and up, and middle school is 7-8 grade) But then again, like 80 people tried out, and only 40 were going to make the team. I dont understand because i've played Rec soccer before, and two girls who were on my team who were always not interested in going after the ball and such made the team. i thought me or one of my friends who was better would make the team! but we didnt! it doesnt make sense.. maybe its because their dad is a coach and so they had "connections...

i used to be pretty good friends with this girl i met this year, and then we got in a fight, and i havent really talked to her in the past month, though we're in a couple of the same classes.
its a long story, but i'll just say a little. like i guess we clicked because we were both in the school's musical, and our characters were together alot. so we became friends, and once we had a little fight, then we became friends again, and we never spoke of the fight again.

Hello. I was wondering if anyone has read The War Of The Worlds book by H.G. Wells If anyone has, and they might know the answers to any of these three questions please let me know. It'd really help me out. Thank you!!
1. What historical disaster does the narrator refer to in the book?
2. When the martians died, where was the message sent to first?
3. What technology was gained from the martians?

SUPER SORRY FOR LEGNTH!! my school fair just ended and now i wont see any of them for a while becasue of our different schools. ill see them next month...becaus eim in summer and there not. Cutting my own hair??

17/f. I have shoulder-length, thick wavy hair (dyed pink, red, and black currently) that I want to cut in a cool and punky way without paying a fortune. Ideally, i'd like it to be down to my ears and a little shaggy on the sides and in the front (where I can straighten it), and short enough to spike in the back. Are there any websites that have instructions on how to cut your own hair? Or any tips you'd like to offer? thanks a lot!
