The War Of The Worlds

Question Posted Monday May 7 2007, 12:22 am

Hello. I was wondering if anyone has read The War Of The Worlds book by H.G. Wells If anyone has, and they might know the answers to any of these three questions please let me know. It'd really help me out. Thank you!!

1. What historical disaster does the narrator refer to in the book?

2. When the martians died, where was the message sent to first?

3. What technology was gained from the martians?

If no one has read the book, or knows the answers to these, do you know of any websites where I'd be able to ask people who have actually read the book? If you do, please let me know. I really need help with this!!

You'll be much better off actually reading the book yourself. You'll get a lot more out of it.

If you're too lazy to do that, just Google "The War of the Worlds H.G. Wells summaries" and you'll get anything you need. We're not here to do your homework for you.
