I don't have the money for a HRM but I want to know how many calories I burn in an hour-long spin class. In the classes I go to, we always have resistance on, either going really fast, or standing up at a high resistance and jogging. I'm 135 pounds. Can anyone help me out with this?

okay so ive heard calorie shifting raises your metabolism and helps you lose weight?
how exactly do you do this on your own?
can somebody give me an example?
i did the "fatloss4idiots" diet and i started losing weight it really does work but i stopped it because it had a lot of salty food items and it made me look bloated and ugly because i dont normally eat that kind of stuff i want to eat what i want, healthy foods but shift my calories to lose weight quick but im not exactly sure how to do it properly. anybody help?

i needed to lose 15 pounds andfor the last 2 weeks ive been working out and eating very healthy and have lost 7 pounds so far! but yesterday was my sisters birthday so we went out to lunch, then dinner later and then had LOTS of cake and ice cream. i mean lotssssss! but this morning it said i had gained 4 pounds?!!!? is this possible? i feel horrible like ive been working so hard to lose this weight did i really gain that 4 pounds back? is it just food thats still in my stomach?! ugh im so pissed??!

okay so for the past month ive been dieting and i needed to lose about 15 pounds. ive lost ten this month i have 5 more pounds to go! but today i had a bad day i ate sooo much bad food! am i going to be fat tomorrow? am i going to gain weight? can you get fat in one night? i feel so bad about eating it all but for the past month ive done so good but now im scared im gonna gain weight back that ive tried so hard to lose???

hi all...
i am a male of 20.
i am under a weight loss progra of myself in which i do some tough enough exercise for around two and a half hour per day andtry to have light food in my everyday diet but i don't always succeed. sometimes i get a bit carried away but still i know with my schedule i owe to have lost aroun 2 kgs weight in last 2 weeks but its not happening. so somebody recommended me to try fat burner capsules as they initiate the process but when i went to chemist to buy them he had a whole lot of range of them. what i want to ask is should i look for some particular formula or component in them which may suit me the best.please tell me some name of formula or component.
p.s. i am 90 kgs, 5 foot 11 , and want to loose atleast 10 kgs.
please help.

I run 3miles like four times a wee, and I wanna know if there are any things I can do to improve my mile time and lose weight and still run 3miles? Sometimes I'll run every other mail boxes, but that's kind of boring, do you have any other fun ideas I could try?

hey there.
i am male of 20 and i am under the process of loosing wieght. but my first problem is that i cant exercise in the morning coz of some schedule so i do it in evening that is i run for 3 kms then i go to gym and do some heavy duty exercise for an hour and then i do jogging for 5kms. and i want to loose around 10 kgs of weight as my current weight is 90 kgs n i want to be of 80 kgs.
BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT I AM NOT GETTING THE DESIRED RESULTS THAT IS I AM NOT LOOSING WIGHT EVENTHOUGH I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THE ABOVE SCHEDULE FO MORE THEN 2 WEEKS AND ON PEOPLE ADVISE THAT I SHOULD STOP FORBID MYSELF FROM EATING ATLEAST 2 HOURS BEFORE EXERCISE TO YIELD GOOD RESULTS BIT THAT IS NOT WORKING. So i am joining a gym. This was what I was planning to do when I go there;
STRETCHHH.
1. Jog there (like a mile) (with my waterrr bottle!)
2. Do some core on the machines
3. Do a "cool down" i guess on the ..biking machines?
4. go into the steam room
Does this sound good? Should I stretch afterward too? Any suggestions would be helpful
ps. im trying to tone upp not lose weight =]

spring break is around the corner and it's going to be my 16th birthday around the 20th, and I want to look really good. I'm a little but over weight, but I want to get into shape by then. I'm bigger built, I'm not small, im 5'5 and 170lbs, and I looked good around 155-160. I'm usually good about watching my weight and exercising, but ive been so busy and i havent been able to get back on track since xmas break, and ive been going through alot of emotional stress and family problems, but its getting better, i just need to get on track...but i need some help! Most of my fat is in my stomach and I want to get my butt smaller..im in a pant size 11, i'd like to be in a 9 or smaller. And I'll diet on anything...its just consistancy and will powe...

17/f, 129 lbs, approx. 5'2".
I've lost around 20 pounds in approx 5-6 months). I want to lose another 9 or 15 by May (for prom!). I'm more concerned about my appearance, than my end weight.
I've read that running (no hills, my treadmill can't do incline anyways) is a good way to lose fat/get skinnier, or it's a way to have the legs 'bulk up'; which I don't want to happen. So it would be nice if someone would clarify on that.

Okay, so I used to be overweight, and I lost like 40lbs by exercising and watching what I ate (it took a year, but I finally got it off.) Now, I wanna lose 15lbs, (just to stabilize my weight because I am almost overweight, I am 5'7 and I weigh about 160, sometimes 154.) I really want to weigh 145 by summer and I want to tone up so that I can wear a bathing suit, I'm a lifeguard, and not be uncomfortable in my body for once in my life. I work out for an hour once a day, and take one day off once a week. And I keep an eye on what I eat, it's not monitored extremely well, but I watch my portions and snacks and all.
Anyway, I would like to know if you guys have any advice for how to lose that weight and get t...

i just bought this acai juice stuff called "genisis acai" from the GNC store. it was $40 cause its suppose to help you lose weight! theres 15,000mg of acai berry in each tablespoon. has anybody used this? or a acai berry product like this? did it hlep you lose weight fast?
