MAK answered Saturday February 21 2009, 12:12 am:
It just means you're out of shape. Plan out a route to run everyday. Try to run it as much as possible, but if you start feeling really out of breath, just walk for a bit, then pick up the running pace again. If you do that route consistently (everyday if you want to get better fast), you'll find it get easier and easier.

You might have asthma. But, probably not.

Start of exercising slow and not pushing yourself too much. Work your way up. Increase your exercise twice a week or so.

Soon you'll be able to run with ease ;].

The only way to keep up your stamina is eat healthily, don't smoke and try to go for a jog or a long bike ride every day :)
That's what helped me.
