in case anyone knows this answer..
COLLEGE APPS: If the ED postmark/electronic submission deadline is November 1st, what does that mean?
Does it mean 11:59 p.m. on Oct 31st or 11:59 p.m. on Nov 1st? I mean, can I send the day of Nov 1st? Like is the deadline including Nov 1st, not by Nov 1st?
This is for Johns Hopkins University.
I am using their online application.

hey guys
well I need some help I have a boyfriend name peter, and lets just say I am so happy 2 be with him!!!!! and his birthday is coming up, and I have no clue what to get him. he loves car, guitars and all that kind of stuff, what do you think I should get him something that isn't too expensive, but I was thinking of getting him a guitar but he doesn't want one and now I don't know what to get him. please help and I'm sorry if this is a stupid question and all but I need help =D thanks guyss

spot scars, strech marks!!!

i have lots of little dark scars were spots and pimples used to be on my face. How do i make them go away or at least less visible permanently??
i also have a few lines of stretch marks on my hips...how do i make them less visible???
Plz dont suggest any laser treatment or you know, something really expensive. I live in england by the way. London to be precise.

migraines

nearly every day for the past two weeks i've had severe migraines. I'm used to getting pretty bad ones, but not for 2 weeks in a row. I know i have to go see a doctor about them, but until then anyone know why this could be happening? Does stress cause migraines? And what can i do to ease the pain a bit? because there's only so much aspirin i can get, and i'm in school so its not like i can just drop everything and go to sleep every time this happens.

I really want a pet

i want to get a pet but my mum thinks they are too much responsibility. I am desperate but maybe i should start with something not so challenging I know she would let me have a cat or dog because the cost a lot of money to keep and you have to worry about them and things. Any suggestions on what i could have. Not a rat because im scared of them and not a fish because theyre boring...

forgotten birthday???

I don't live with my little sister anymore because she now lives with my dad from about a year ago. I really mean a lot to her because my dad says everytime she hears my voice she crys because she misses me so much. It was her birthday on the 29th and i forgot to call her. I feel really guilty and i really want to make up to her. I havent spoken to her yet. What can i do about it? what can i buy her? shes 10 by the way...but she is very mature.

Can anyone tell me what to expect while working in a gift shop? I got that job volunteering at a hospital, and am not sure what to expect. My training begins tomorrow, basically, if you have any tips, that would be helpful. If not, that's fine too. =)

Parents just don't understand!

I don't know what to say or do. I graduated college a few months ago, and now my parents are on my back about doing something with my life, as they like to put it. I got in a huge fight with them over this, and I have ZERO support from them.
-what I want: job/internship in magazines to gain experience, and then eventually go to grad school.
-what they want: get a job, and apply to grad school at the same time.
I want to get job experience BEFORE I apply to grad school (journalism), but that is something they absolutely fail to understand. I don't know what to tell them...it's as though every chance they get, they're on my back about this.
I had a terrible day thinking about it, and it always makes me feel like complete crap.
What should I do?

Typo on college app..

I was filling out college applications and I finally was able to send a few in.
I noticed yesterday that on one of the applications I made a typo on my Social Security Number. For example, say my SS# was 123456789, I had accidentally typed 123457689.
Is this something I should rectify immediately or wait until whether or not I get accepted and choose to go there. I already know that if I get accepted then that is the college I'm choosing.
If I should do this now then how should I contact them to let them know? Should I do it through e-mail, phone call, in person? The college is about 2 hours away so it would be really hard to get up there and speak with somebody...
Anyway, I was wondering what I should do...

cholesterol

i went to the doctor for a check up a few weeks ago and got the results back today, and it said that my cholesterol was 217 and triglyceride level was 171. I know that's not good but i really don't know what to do about it. I'm 15 and my cholesterol has been kind of high since i was about 13, but its not like i'm not active or anything. I swim competitively and play softball. My dad's side of my family has a history of high cholesterol so could most of it be hereditary? I mean yes I do eat sugary foods but I think I balance my diet out pretty well since I also eat a lot of fruits and grains. What should I do?

what are 'love handles?' fat on your thighs, butt? please tell me what that is, and how do you get rid of it. I know your suppose to stand up, i found so much stuff about it i just don't understand HOW to do it, so can someone PLEASE explain it to me step by step to get rid of love handles

I'm probably going to my boyfriends house soon and it's gonna be just me and him.
what all do you think we could do? i want to play 'games' with him, not like cardboard, or anything like that, like maybe games you just make up. i'm planning on saying 'okay i'm gonna count to 3, and you hafe to try to catch me (I'm running to his bed;)
like those games, and maybe wrestling : )))

really sick

I have bronchitis. The only way to get better is to take these very strong antibiotics my doctor gave me. The only problem is, i have a sensative stomach and the antibiotics are giving me horrible horrible diarhea. I'm sorry if this grosses you out, I just need to know if there is anything I could eat or do that would ease me body's reaction to the antibiotics.
