URGENT in case anyone knows this answer..
COLLEGE APPS: If the ED postmark/electronic submission deadline is November 1st, what does that mean?
Does it mean 11:59 p.m. on Oct 31st or 11:59 p.m. on Nov 1st? I mean, can I send the day of Nov 1st? Like is the deadline including Nov 1st, not by Nov 1st?
This is for Johns Hopkins University.
I am using their online application.

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has a Nov. 1st deadline and I took that to mean that it had to be sent out on the 1st or earlier. They say that the postmark date has to be Nov. 1st or earlier so I automatically assumed that tomorrow is that last day to can send in the application.
I read what it said on the John Hopkins website and all it says is "Decision. Each year, about 30 percent of our entering freshmen choose this option. To apply Early Decision, you must submit your application and supporting credentials by November 1." so I see where you are confused. I would take that to mean that it includes Nov. 1st.
Good luck and you better hurry. Although I read more about them and I hope you REALLY want to go if you are applying early decision because if you get in you can't go anywhere else. At least with Chapel Hill it is a nonbinding early notification... ]
