You're 12. You shouldn't be wearing high heels, or strapless shirts. You shouldn't even be on this site for that matter. You need be 13 to be here & you're not.

Follow your mother's rules, and come back when you're of age to be here.

Respect your mother's judgment. Being as I am older, I can say that a 12 year old in high heels and strapless shirts is not appealing. Be happy being young and living without responsibility. Go outside, get dirty, play with barbies for crying out loud. Before you know it, you will be an adult and you will wish with everything in you that you could go back to when you were 12 when life was much simpler. So enjoy it now. You have plenty of time to dress in heels and halter tops when you are in high school or college. For now enjoy being a kid. You may not be 2 anymore but 12 hardly qualifies you as an adult.

first of all your in 6th grade, stop throwing to grow up so fast. i understand what your talking about because thats how my mom is but as i get older(in 7th grade now) i realize that she is only trying to look out for me and all your mom is trying to do is look out for you as well because these boys out here are getting more dangerous as the years go by.they rape little girls like you. so all im saying is try to understand what your mom tells you and be a kid as long as you can.

sixth graders don't normally wear those types of things, you're trying too hard. So, listen to your mother.

And all mother's do this, it's their jobs, so be happy she cares! Eventually, she will loosen up when you get older, but you have to deal with the fact that you're her child, and a child may i remind you. You're too young to be wearing that sort of stuff often, like special occasions and like the strapless shirts at the beach or in the summer, but def. not together, or else guys will think you're a whore. And some guys like that but most don't.

Hope I helped ?

i think worring about that stuff and trying to dress like that and grow up shows your not ready for being older. you dont seem very mature and dont seem to see that your mom loves you and is doing the right thing for you. and i doubt a 2 yr old dresses like ur mom lets you. i dont even like high heels that much depending and flats r the style anyway. stop trying to attract the attention of boys because u will get the bad ones. i know you might like bad boys but not when they hurt you. shes doing the right thing whether you think so or not. im kind of like you, i like boys and dressing hot or whatever but calm it down. im sure your low cut tanks are good enough for the boys right now. and by the way most guys in your grade arent even thinking about girls bodies to that degree yet so you will just get sick older boys, the younger ones like girls just being themselves. so try it! haha :) hope i helped

Your mother' rules are rules. I advise you to follow them. I used to try to break my mom's fashion rules, but it's a lot easier not to.

Furthermore, you are in the sixth grade. A little young for strapless shirts and high heels. Maybe all your friends are doing it, but honestly it looks a little trashy, espically on someone so young. You may think you're old enough, but you really aren't.

Moreover, you don't want to give boys the wrong idea. Wearing strapless shirts may make you look easy, again, espically at a young age. Your mom realizes you are maturing, but she's trying to protect you. You don't want a boy to force you to go farther and end up with a baby. Wearing revealing clothing shows that you are willing to go farther.

It's what mum's do unfortunately. They don't like to see their daughters grow up so fast. I'm sure if you ever become a mother, you will feel the same.
I can't help noticing you're in 6th grade.. That's not exactly old/mature enough in my eyes. You shouldn't be in such a rush to grow up. I can't stress that enough. If I could go back to being that age, I would in a split second.
Your mum is aware you aren't 2 any more. She's probably doing it for your own safety. Wearing promiscuous clothing will attract the attention of older men.
Just keep trying to reason with your mum. Don't pick out the most revealing outfit right now. Keep it to a certain standard. For instance, don't wear high heels together with your strapless shirt. Wear one or the other. Over time, as you get older, your mum will back off.
Think of this as a test. You're still quite young, so take this opportunity to prove to your mum you are maturing. I know it's annoying - but most people your age go through it.
and Happy Halloween by the way. :)
