i want to get a really nice hair straightener for christmas. something that works really well and lasts reasonably long. I don't want a CHI, or really anything above $80. what do you recommend?

Hair won't go away!

Ok i have gym in next semester and my friend told me that you have this test to see how long can you hang onto a monkey bar.
Well, I shave my armpits but like you can still see the dots and it's the same with waxing too because i have black hair and the area around the armpit is kinda dark too.
And I can't change my outfit because we have uniforms. Any advice would be great, thank you.

ugh i want to lose weight..i feel kinda bad about how i look evryday i lost weight over the summer but now i have gained it all back and maybe even a little more i sometimes just cant control my eating!..i want to lose most of it by february but i want to look a bit thinner by monday 2 days which through all i have been through i know is impossible but i dont know why i keep getting this in my head..i am gonna start soon to lose weight again......how do i deal with my emotions and how do i stop myself from eating alot?

For my media coursework I have to analyse an advert that subverts the family stereotype. So it involves a family but not a stereotypical one.
Stereotypical family: mum and dad, two - three kids, live in a nice house, have nice neighbours and so on...
If you know of any adverts APART from the vauxhall car ad, the bt ad and the one where the mum eats her child's yoghurt, could you please tell me a link to the advert?

so I just looked on my BEST friends myspace(weve been friends for 7 years) and I love her like a sister. anyway,the guy I used to reallly like 2 monhts ago and I was hooking up with commented HER picture and said she was pretty..and I guess he was talking to her on AIM a few nights ago.ugh it just gets to me! has anyone else gone through the same thing or similar? do i have a right to be mad about this?! she says shed never do anything with him and btw dont tlel me to talk to him because i dont anymore.

Pap Smear

I'm not sexually active but I am in the Army and it is required for you to get a pap smear. I got one recently and it hurt so bad and they couldn't even finish it. Is this normal? I was saying OW OW OW OW the entire time. It was kind of embarrassing too. What should I do?

we've been going out since october 13th..
things have been great
no fights, no drama, nothing
but this past week, i found out he smokes
i've told him before i have zero respect for those who smoke
because my dad died of lung cancer
from smoking
i told him i cared for him too much to see him kill himself like this
and since then
he's been so rude to me
he told me he only smokes when he's at work, on his break
so every time he goes on his break,
he'll text me and say "i'm on break guess what i'm doing?"
and of course i'll say "smoking."
and he aggrivates me on purpose...

I have bought a new coat, i dont no wether to wear it to school or not on monday or wait until after xmas because my friends will go out and get it one very simalar which is very annoying as its really nice and different! I shouldnt have to not wear it on monday just because my friends will copy it as they usually do but I dont know what other way there is? Sounds very lame but its also exstremly annoying when your friends copy you, also when people compliment them on how lovely they look when you got if first grr?

I am 15/male.
Its pretty much exactley what it sounds like. Im sick of disapointing my parents. I fail school. I dress so awkwardley that there embarresed to be seen with me. Im a complete total fuck up. I have anger issues. Im always fighting with my mom. I told her i didnt want to be a part of the family, and the look on her face KILLED me inside. They found out i smoke, and my mom didnt do anything except cry. becuase her mom died at like 30 from cancer. Im always getting in trouble with them. Oh and i like men. and i cant tell them that becuase i cant and i wont deissapoint them more. Im sad to say that the easiest way to get through this, is to kill myself. Im not really looking for advice. Im kind of just venting to anyone who cares. :(
