what does debut album mean? Whats debu anyway? AND what does platinum mean? like

"6x platinum"?

or gold or silver or please teel m!

debut means first. when you make your debut, that is the first time you like perform or whatever. platinum, gold, and silver are ways of ranking how many albums you have sold. i'm not sure about the numbers (hey, wikipedia) but platinum is the best, then gold, then silver. it's kind of a big deal.
