Photography with Tripod.

I bought a tripod yesterday, and I own a Canon Rebel XTi Digital Camera. I'd like to take some photography of myself, but the problem is, when i put it on self timer and focus it where i will be, it focuses on the background, and when i get to where i'd like to stand, i'm not focused.
does anyone know how to fix this?

Metal.

Well I have been listening to metal for around 5 years now, and I mean serious metal, not pussy metal :P
Like COB, Slayer, In Flames, Behemoth, Slipknot and so on. I hope you get the idea.
Anyway, I was wondering if some people knew some good metal bands, that are unknown... if you can bother, myspace links would be nice, but any band names would be very very much appreciated :D

Tampon question/help

Okay I dont use tampons that often, and when I do its always when Its heavy. Putting the tampon in does not hurt me at all, but afterwads it hurts. Like standing up it feels weird and I dont like the feeling almost like its falling out, but sitting down is fine. I really dont understand??
When taking the tampon out I always find a mild discomfort but nothing to painfull. I was just wondering why the tampon hurts so much when its inside, could I not be putting it in far enough? Because i always try too?
I dont know im really worried why it hurts so bad when I standd up and its in and sometimes even when sitting it hurts a bit. Thank you

I'm a 16 year old girl. You'd think I'd be responsible by now...but I can't even call and arrange things. I think it's a social phobia or something. But if I were to, lets say, call an office...I wouldn't do it unless I absolutely HAD to ..I wouldn't feel comfortable, I'd start getting extremely anxious...sometimes sweating....and I'd think about that phone call in advance for a long time. When really, if I think about it AFTER...it's just a little phonecall. Well, today..I have to visit an office and give something to a doctor...And I have to do it all by myself. I'm all anxious and scared and I don't know what to do. Is this social anxiety? Whenever I have to make appointments, I get freaked out as well. And talking on the phone isn't my thing at all...

ive known this guy for 2 1/2 years and when we met it was attraction on the spot. spent hours talking and in constant admiration for each other. well, i was in a horrible ending relationship that i couldnt get out of and me and my new found love fell our seperate ways. in that time he married the mother of his child because of the void he was feeling and just to be closer to his child. well destiny placed us back together in another country together for a year and we fell back into each others arms but, now the problem is not two non-married love birds but he is maried and we stil have the same admiration for each other, in life i know you dont choose who you love, is chooses you than, what is a woman to do in this situation?

Long distant relationship

I've been seeing this girl for about 5 months online. Before then, we did all kinds of stuff for about 9 months. I'm not completely sure how I feel about her.
Before I started seeing her, I was in a horrible relationship. I had those sparks you're supposed to have when you kiss, but that was about it. It became obvious that she was crazy and I was scarred from it ((convincing me to have unprotected sex after making me incredibly depressed, then saying she wants to get pregnant and doesn't care who the father is. Blood in stool... (male, 23)

So I've had a few issues with blood. It wasn't that bad at first, but still alarming. It started in high school shortly after I had my gall bladder removed (at 15) and I was told that things wouldn't change much at all, but I might want to watch my diet). I had tests done for possible problems back then, but nothing came up. It was assumed that I was just straining too hard.
In the last couple of years there has been a lot of blood in the toilet, but only on rare occasions. Each time it happens, there isn't much pain involved, if any, and it only lasts for a couple of days. I'm starting to think that it happens when I have a lot of dairy products. I'm kind of hoping it's just a result of the gall bladder being removed a...

Learning to play the guitar

Ok, so my friend and I made this list of things we want to do before we graduate highdchool, and one of the things on the list was to learn how to play the guitar. Now, I've grown up around music, my dad's sside of the family are strong musicians and most of them know how to play the guitar. So, naturally, I had no trouble getting a guitar and some exercises to help practice, whereas, she has yet to get a guitar. So she said it was fine that I started learning before her. So, last week, I got the guitar and sat down and practiced for a few hours. Basically, the first week, I was just trying to build up calic [sp?] so it wouldn't hurt as much when I moved on to the hard stuff. My boyfriend and I have made out and he's gone farther with me than I have with him. He's felt my chest, fingered me, and nearly performed oral on me. I haven't even reached second with him.
