How to fix split-ends and damaged hair?

My hair is pretty damaged and I'm trying to find a way to "heal" it if possible. My hair is fairly long, stick-straight, thin, and has lots of dead-ends.
When I shampoo my hair I always condition it too. I shampoo first (twice) then condition it right away. I leave the conditioner on until I finish showering so it is the last thing I wash off of me. I don't really use any specific kind of conditioner so it'd be nice if someone could recommend something really good for damaged hair.
I saw this stuff in Wal-Mart that says it helps to heal damaged hair but it's made out of placenta and that is entirely too creepy for me to be able to use.
Are there any products I can look into using for such a thing?

Do curling shampoos actually work?

I found a product in the local Food City here called Wash 'N Curl. I read the label and it pretty much says that it helps your hair to curl and adds volume. It also claims to be good for dry and damaged hair.

I have very thin, straight hair with lots of dead ends. My hair is pretty stick-straight naturally so I'm really unsure if this could help bring some wave to it and/or help me with curling it.

i want to be able to go out with my friends like every other weekend but my parents wont let me, they make up excuses so i dont go. like 'oh your rooms not clean.' or 'no do this' or 'you have to watch ur brother tonight' they only let me go out like once a month with my friends.
how do i let them get me to go out more?

My mother wants to know not only everything that goes on in my life, but everything that goes on in anyone that i know's life. She asks questions constantly about every tiny detail, that I couldn't possibly know the answer to and that she really has no need to know. She says its "her job" to take an interest in my life. When I get angry with her for asking so many questions, she gets very upset and says she can't even have a conversation with her own daughter.
I realize that she loves me and only wants to be a part of my life, but shouldn't there be a line drawn somewhere? Anytime I let her know that I'm getting annoyed with the "conversations" that feel more like interrogations, she gets very offended...

Rabbit Cages

I'm really interested in getting a dwarf rabbit. I bought a book about the care and keeping of pet rabbits, and it said that it was ideal to keep the door to the cage open eventually, so that the rabbit was free to come and go and wander about the house as it pleased. My question is, is this really necessary? My mom isn't a fan of pets wandering about the house, and I haven't totally convinced her that a rabbit is a good idea. Of course I would let my bunny out to be with me when I was around the house, but would it be a problem if I kept him/her in the cage with the door shut at other times?

abs

I have a layer of fat in the top of my abs which is incredible hard to work off. Does anyone else have this issue? Like my obliques and my upper abs are really defined and so are my lower abs. Butmy lower abs have this I would say medium sized ammount of fat between my skin and by abs. Creating a block of my full beautiful belly potential. Does anyone have any good suggestions on how to fix this? Besides going to a gym, iLike at home workouts and such. I am willing to do rigorous workouts too. And any suggstions for upper thighs? ok so theres this one guy at school and my best friend likes him but i like him to and he knows that she likes him but he donn't know that i like him and he flirts with me and my friend told me that if he starts going out with someone else she would get really pissed and if he goes out with me she is going to be pissed at me and she is my best friend... What should i do...

summer friendships broken?

School just ended for me so summer is officially in session. I'm a little depressed because I won't see any of my new made friends over the 3 month summer vacation, which is why I usually loathe the long break from school. Anyway, to the point. There's a guy in particular who I became fast friends with, but it seems that once school ended, so did our friendship. i really like him and one of my friends suggested i tell him that I've liked him for as long as I have. But I'm not so sure since school's out and I won't see him. I don't want things to get awkward but then everything changes over summer, so I'm not sure. So for a dance i did my hair in curls and i really liked it but it took like an hour with a curling iron. I have long brown hair. It is straight but wavy in a few spots. I was wondering how i could get long loose curls in my hair, but like not scrunching it, or taking hours with a curling iron, bc i dont have a curling iron and i hate lots of hairspray. thanks!

How do I convince my mom to let me get a tattoo

16/f. I really want to get a small tattoo of a 'V' (to represent my vegetarianism and who I am) on my left wrist kind of to the right side next to the vain. I asked my mom about it earlier today and she said she will think about it but she made it pretty clear that she doesn't want me to get a tattoo until I am 18. But I really want it now. What can I do to convince her to let me get this done? I am a good kid. I don't get bad grades and I never get into trouble. I convinced her to let me get my eyebrow pierced almost a year ago so I'm pretty sure I can talk her into letting me get this done if I do it in an adult manner.
