Do curling shampoos actually work?

Question Posted Sunday June 1 2008, 2:07 am

I found a product in the local Food City here called Wash 'N Curl. I read the label and it pretty much says that it helps your hair to curl and adds volume. It also claims to be good for dry and damaged hair.

I found the website here:

I have very thin, straight hair with lots of dead ends. My hair is pretty stick-straight naturally so I'm really unsure if this could help bring some wave to it and/or help me with curling it.

they dont really work on people with naturally very straight hair. More for people with a natural wave. If you want curly hair, use straightners or curl irons.
ive you want volume try blow-drying your hair with your head upside down, or scuffing it as u dry it then using straightners to fix untidy bits.

hope i helped a wee bit

xx

It's definitely worth a try. I've used similar products, but I have crazy-curly hair, so I used them for the dry/damaged benefits.

Trimming your dead ends will also help with the thinness- because you'll be able to notice added volume better, and your hair wont be/seem as dry.
