This probably sounds quite silly but heres the situation: I've already got one big group of friends that I hang with on weekends and in the summer and in some of my classes and all that. But theres this other group of kids that I would really like to like be a part of. I'm really good friends with some of the girls in it, like I've been friends with them since elementary school- in fact, we were best friends in elementary school. They're a totally different "style" if you understand what I'm saying. Like my current social group is like this random, really eclectic mix of kids who just want to be silly and have fun, and this one is more artsy, musical, intelligent, and creative. I would really fit into this gro...

i have a bang trim scheduled on wednesday and i can't decide if i should get bangs or not. right now i have the trendy side swept bangs that sweep across my forehead. i'm thinking of getting regular straight bangs though. do y'all think they are cute/fashionable? what are your thoughts? i have long-ish brown hair. can you give me links to pictures of bangs you like? do you think they would be easy to manage during the summer? anyone with experience?

grad money- how to spend

hello. so i have around 200 dollars from graduation that i would like to spend, plus i could get a couple hundred more by trading some of the gifts i got. i don't know what to get myself!! i just graduated from high school.. i'm a girl. i live in austin, tx. and i'm going to UT next year. i already have a digital camera and i'm planning on getting a laptop. any ideas on what to get?

i have been with my two babys dad for 6 yrs and gone threw so much with him. he is abusive at times and i have left him so many times. i have found someone new that i like and wana be with. i work with him, i dont know how to tell my kids dad that i dont wont him anymore and how to leave him please give me some advice

i really like this guy. on thursday, my teacher said that if these two girls bring in baked goods on friday, she'll make this writing assignment thing due on monday. i missed class on friday, and i didn't know whether the two girls brought in the baked goods or not. so i facebook messaged my crush:

so, i'm going camping for a music festival on wednesday. i'm supposed to start my period that friday. we leave on sunday. i'm supposed to start my period on friday- yeah, it sucks. there will be a limited amount of showers, and i didn't plan on taking more than two while i was there because you have to wait for hours and it's just a hassle (it sounds gross to only shower once or twice for five days, but thats what everyone else does too).
anyone have any advice for keeping myself clean/what i should do? they only have port-a-potties and things like that, too, by the way. i don't like wearing tampons, but i will if i have to. any help is appreciated!

sugarless gum?

it seems like whenever i chew sugarless gum, i get really bad gas, and sometimes even diarrhea (gross, i know). i usually chew two pieces at a time if it's not in stick form, and i get a new piece more often that other people. am i allergic/intolerant of something in the gum? should i see a doctor about it or something?

DMB tickets in Hartford, CT

I know it is very late notice, but you have my boyfriend to blame for that.
We are trying to get Dave Matthews Band tickets at the New England Dodge Music Center in Hartford, CT on 6/14/08. We only need two of them and we are just looking for lawn seats. Ticket master has them for $36, but everytime I ask, they say they have no more. What's the deal? I didn't think lawn seats sold out.
I then went to NEDMC's website, and it said GA for lawn was $40.50, and when I hit "Buy Tickets" it took me straight to Ticket master again. What should we do? We don't want to end up paying 90 dollars, which other sites are offering.

so my boyfriend sometimes says things like tomorrow we're going shopping...what kinda ring do you want? or you're perfect lets get married...or That finger would look even more beautiful with a big diamond ring on it...and stuff like that. is he just joking around or does he really want to get married? i'm 17 and he's 19 which is legal where i live but we've only been together for a few months and i deffiently don't want to get married but he says he loves me and blah blah blah...so i dont know what to think/say when he says stuff like this. and i really hate the sun. i hate going outside, and i wait until night to get outside-active and stuff. well, my parents are pressuring me to get a job as a lifeguard. summers almost halfway over and i still dont have a job. they think i could be a good lifeguard, if i just got outside and got a tan. they say if i do get the job, im going to be outside all day everyday and that if i dont like the sun, to just get over it.
what should i do? i hate it outside! i hate bugs, i hate heat, i wear all black so i cant just go on a walk and i hate the sun and the brightness! any thoughts on something that might help???? thanks!
