Okay,
I am 23 and my older sister is 29. We never really had a relationship but I have a facebook and I try to get to know her off the site.
My older sister has 3 young children and one on the way and she's also been married for 5 years.
It bothers me because I as well as my parents feel like she sort of disowned us once she had her first child back in 2006. She never visits my mother and rarely has contact with my father...yet alone her and I are almost complete strangers. It hurts me but there is SO much I want to say to her because I am angry that she never even asked me or my younger sister to be her brides maid at her wedding, and she never calls us or even stops by and when I do t...

Knee troubles

I play softball all the time. ive been told i play too much. since its winter now i go inside so i can still play. anyway
a couple of weeks ago my knee was acting up so my parents took me to the doctor to see if anything was wrong. my doctor (who happens to be the most paranoid person i know) told us to go the hospital. when we got there they did tons of work on my knee and i got an MRI. 4 hours after we got there we found out i had torn my ACL. we've obviously seen more then one doctor about it and two out of the three said that i probably wont be able to play again. they told me that i could swim. i mean swimming isnt bad .... but i love softball ..... any suggestions about dealing with this loss...or any other sports i can...

wrists hurting after tumbling

okay so i do gymnastics every wensday thursday and friday. the class on wensday and friday is a half hour and thursday is an hour. i do roundoff back handsprings. everytime i leave my wrists really hurt like 81/2 9 on pain. i cant even move them and i cant open doors. she does wrap my wrists when i am at the gym. and when i came home the other day i put ice on it but it didnt help. i put ace bandages on it and after a little bit they started to help. im 16 by the way and i am driving with a permit. so when my wrists hurt i drive and they feel better. should i buy some sort of wrist suppporters for when i tumble? oh i switched my wensday class to monday. any advice? I tried to look for my answers in their site but it was too confusing to find:
I'm 15 and it's my dream university; I've been working very hard in high school so that I can get into it. I can't even think of a different school to go to so if I don't make it, seriously, I don't know what I would do. I have a 91-92% average at the moment and the only thing I know is that you need at least between 86-87% average to go there.
1. Has anyone been there? Is it worth it? I've only seen those stereotyped COLLEGE shows with drinking and sex and partying and stuff, is that true?

Well I'm really skinny and I only eat healthy foods (with candy occasionally) but I've been gaining the pounds recently and it's showing, only through my stomach. I mean, I wouldn't really mind if my whole body got a bit bigger but it's just pushing through my stomach and since I'm skinny, it just looks as if I'm pregnant! (Well not that much but if this keeps up, in the future it will!)
For two years now I've wanted to have a treadmill or an elliptical machine in our house but my dad refuses to buy one so when I decided that when I turn 16, I'll go get a job and hopefully get a gym membership at this popular gym place that a lot of people in my grade go to. Do you think that's a good idea?

I'm currently a size 6 in pants size, and I want to be a size 4 by the end of April. Maybe 5-10 pounds would be enough to lose 1-2 sizes? (since some stores pant sizes are in even numbers).
I plan on exercising 5 days a week to achieve this. And to cut out junk food... and bacon.
Is my goal realistic/possible?

Okay,this could get a little confusing so il explain it as best i can.
