Can I help my friend relize her boyfriend is verbally abusing her?

I am a 19 year old female and my friend is also 19 and female. My friend has been in a relationship with a guy for over a year now. In the beginning of the relationship her boyfriend hit her. She was going to leave him then but he promised to change and to never hit her again. He stopped hitting her but he is verbally abusive. He tells her she is worthless. Besides that he gets jealous easily. He got mad at her because she was spending too much time hanging out with me. Pregnancy At A Young Age & Who To Tell?

My 16 year old feamle best friend is, and has been for 3 years, dating my 17 year old male cousin. My cousin just recently moved in with her because his family is definitely falling apart. I am okay with that because we still all spend time away and toghether, But my problem is that they have been having sex for over a year now. I know they are too young for it and so do they. Now my best friend is in a hole; she hasn't had her monthly since May! She wants to find out for sureif she is pregnant before she talks with her parents. Should we keep it a secret and buy a test or should I convince her to tell her parents? Also; I know she is not ready for it... should she out it up for adoption or have an abortion, or keep it if she is!?

birth control?

k so. some of my friends and sisters are on birth control and most my friends tell me its awesome it makes your periods lighter and it fills your body out like your curves and makes your boobs bigger, they lost a little weight and the pill basically makes you grow up. one of my sisters told me she got really sick and gained 10 pounds but then her body got used to it and it worked to make her periods better. im thinking about going on it because my periods fucking suck and the filling out your body and losing some weight sounds good too mee, plus i dont have too realllly worry about shit when i have sex. so whats the deal? do you only get sick if its a higher dose or something? i dont wanna gain weight cus i dont really like the weight i am now as it is. help please!

alright kitttys, im like 5'10 and i weigh 180ish is that over weight? i dont think i look so bad i like my legs but i NEEED to lose my love handles, i tryed doing side crunches and twists and shit but i never feel the burn on my sides no matter how many i do i just feel it on my tummy, which i also wanna tone a little but its not too bad. so can someone tell me some exersice that targets my sides and thats affective?! thank you! :]

Asking her out

So me and this girl have been talking a lot lately, like everyday for hours, so we're way into the friend zone. And of course I really like her a lot! I'm going to ask her out when she comes back to school, which is like 45 minutes from where I live. Anyway, my question is, do I ask her to go out with me, or do I ask her to be my girlfriend? The distance thing makes me want to ask her to be my girlfriend, plus the fact that it's not like I need to ask her out to get to know her for the first time, I already know a lot about her. But asking to be my girlfriend is a little higher up on the commitment line rather than just asking her out on a date.

my best friend's mom is dying what should I do???

So.. um. My best friend is starting the last year of high school this year, and her mom is very sick and is going to die. Lately she has been in a very bad psychological state, depressed and stuff like that. She has been drinking quite a lot, and when she was drunk the other day she started telling me stuff like she doesn't know what to do if her mother dies, and half her life is going to go away and stuff like that. She also said she's happy she has all of us (her friends) and stuff, but generally she sounded like she was really in a horrible mental state.
Can you please give me advice on what I can do?

there are different types
so if someone has non-harmful type 1 where they get
blisters/sores on their mouth and they go down on someone else, will that do anything? because isn't genital herpes caused by herpes type 2?

what does it mean with the 1 in front of the area code? just to distinguish between the two people texting in the same area code?
i know 1 means its a cell phone, right? but you can only text between 2 cells..

my boyfriend of 2 years just moved to texas. i live in virginia. i need to find a way to be with him again but i dont know how. my parents are very strict and would probably not let me go to texas to stay with him, so if i were to buy a plaane ticket i would have to do it behind their backs somehow. if thats possible? or i was thinking of taking a train to visit but i dont know the cost or how long it would take. i want to be with him long term but i dont know how to be. his mom isnt as strict as mine and would let me stay with him but i just dont know how. my parents would never let me. please help, im desperate right now i need to see him so bad

How to set up a neighborhood project to fix our park?

We have a park in our neighborhood. Haha, yup. Recently the slide got broken so they are going to add another, and they put up stuff so that people can't ride it as well as several notices explaining what was going on and that they were going to add a new one. it also had a phone number of someone if you wanted extra info or something. I've been thinking of calling the person to talk about my idea to fix up the park. like it would be great for college admissions if like teens in the neighborhood get involved, and it sounds like a fun memorable thing to do to bring our neighborhood more together. cause our park is pretty crappy.
