I need birth control but my parents are apprehensive

I have the worst cramps. The type that will make me miss school, scream in pain, throw things, throw up, have cold sweats, and physically unable to walk. I think birth control pills are the answer but my mom says I cant use them. Even though she is a nurse she thinks that they are not healthy and does not like the "stigma" attached. I do not have sex or have a boyfriend so I am not using it for birth purposes but it is a plus. I really just want to not regret being female every month. I cant miss anymore school; i have 5 AP classes to handle.
I have not been to a gynecologist yet because of my mom. I am 17 years old is there a way to get these pills myself or any convincing ideas.

extremely dry skin?

my face started to break out, so i bought this three in one face cream from the drug store. but i think its making my face worse, and it's making it extremely dry - enough that you can see how dry it is.
what can i do?
my face is worse than it was and i honestly have no idea how to fix it.

TV

i have a cable box that gives me basic cable, plus the movie channels & music. for some reason the past two days it has been messed up. but we have the same box for the other two TVs in the house that and theyre perfectly normal. im pretty sure we have comcast.
it basically just will play then stop for like 3-4 seconds, then start again where its live. ive tried unpluggin everythin, leavin the TV off, changin channels. nothin works !
please help ! how can i fix this ? :(

My cat is very angry, I think...

So, we have two cats; a kitten and a 5 year old. We also have a puppy. The 5 year old, who we got the same time as the kitten, in September of 2009, is not a very happy cat. He makes a lot of loud noises, doesn't get along with the other animals, and poops on the floor. He gets along with me just fine! I'm wondering if he's sick, because he 'screams' at absolutely nothing; however my parents have the belief that cats don't get sick (ever).
Is there anything I can do to make him more comfortable in his new home, to help him calm down? My mom says we might have to give him back, and I really don't want to.

Not actually 'with' this guy, we just hang out/ text and stuff, only when we do, it;s never really great or good conversation, it's mostly just physical stuff..He only really texts when he wants something, and seems uninterested, I'm not dumb, I'm thinking to ditch this guy.

Alright so I'm a fourteen year old girl and my boyfriend is sixteen. We've been dating almost three months and my boyfriend has already said he loved me... getting the computer to remember me

Okay, so I have a toshiba, and say im logging into advicenators or facebook, I always have to type in my entire username or email. On my old toshiba, all I had to do was type in the first couple letters, and my username would show that i could click on to have it automatically enter in. How do I get my new laptop to do that too?

ok well, me and this kid have been dating for 3 weeks now and we meet about a month and a half ago. since we met hes been fine w/me and always says the nicest things and hes so respectful.. but in the past few days hes been weird and short w/ me and i cant even tell if he stil likes me sometimes. hes hot and cold and during these days he'll be short but then randomly say i miss u or call me babe or something. and he still texts me first thing in the morning all the time. idk what to do, can someone please help me? i dont want to say somethnig and sound hostile w/ him.. help.

how is secondhand smoke worst than firsthand smoke for people? i dont understand. like both of my parents smoke in the house and i try to stay away from it as best as i can like i go in my room and stuff butthe smell still travels throughout the house so im getting more harmed than the people actually smoking? how does that even make sense? it just confuses me...
