I've wanted to just go to the store and pick up a box of condoms, but I'm too embarrassed to do more than just glance at the packages as I walk through the aisle at the drugstore. Any suggestions how to make the buying process less scary?

And just remember condoms are easier to buy then baby stuff ! [ Baylie08's advice column | Ask Baylie08 A Question ]

A, go somewhere you don't regularly shop, because then no one will remember you and that will make you feel better.
B, just grab them, and get some snacky foods. It really is a help to have the whole thing covered up.
C, remember that condoms are less embarassing to buy than telling your parents that you're pregnant... that always helped me man up...
D, if you're just too embarassed, find a younger kid and have him go buy them. They think it's a rush. My boyfriend and I made his 14 yr old friend do this back when I was like 16. It was funny, and I got my condoms embarassment free. [ pseudophun's advice column | Ask pseudophun A Question ]

Buy something else along with it if you must. That should help draw your attention (and anyone else's, if just in your imagination) away from the condoms. Make it something else you actually need. Don't buy something else just for the sake of it.
