getting the computer to remember me

Question Posted Friday January 1 2010, 2:56 pm

Okay, so I have a toshiba, and say im logging into advicenators or facebook, I always have to type in my entire username or email. On my old toshiba, all I had to do was type in the first couple letters, and my username would show that i could click on to have it automatically enter in. How do I get my new laptop to do that too?
thanks!

There's this shit called "autocomplete." Every time you start typing, it will remember what you type in the most. Try to find it on your computor. Sometimes, it gives you a message.

If you download Mozzila Firefox there will be a pop-up on the top screen asking if you'd like "to be remembered by this website", if you click yes it will automatically have your email ready & all that would be left to type in is your password.
