getting engaged

I know that my boyfriend is going to officially propose to me (19/f) sometime soon. He told me he bought a ring and that he's waiting for the right time to give it to me. I'm okay with the fact that he told me, I'm actually pretty glad about it. You see girls in the movies all the time that are pressured into going along with engagement. I think it was really respectful of him to talk about it with me, it's just that I'm not quite sure how to act when the time comes. Obviously I'll be happy, but since I'm probably not going to be surprised should I sort of pretend to be? I tend to show very little emotion and I think it might hurt his feelings if I don't appear to be happy or surprised or SOMETHING. I want it to be really special. Can anybody help me out here?

im the shortest kid in my class and i like the tallest boy. Everybody know i like him and are always saying stuff like "yeah _ go get your girl" but im always like "shut up" and he acts like he doesnt here. The other day i was asleep in class and when i got up to do my work i looked up to glanced at him and he was looking right at me smilling and well im very say and turnd around really quick and it looked like he got mad or somthing cause he moved his seet and like facing his back at me and now hes wird all my friends say i should talk to him about that but i dont want to look silly talking about that and asking him if hes mad at me how can i talk to him about that with out starting with what happend so i wont look silly or what can i do??????????

hm ok,im gonna change the names around for reasons.
so there this kid named... *dj for instance and he likes me. but he also has a girlfriend named *lisa. we were at the library and *dj had me sit on his lap and he put his hands down this hole near the top of my jeans cuz they were hollister ones and then me and *dj talk online and he mails me on myspace calling me sexy well his girlfrined *lisa found out and i guess she really likes him and doesnt want him to break up with her.. and i was like do you like me? and hes like ya but i dont no what do to about *lisa. and i was like well its your choice, and *dj wants me to call him tonight.. so we can "talk" should i like him and wait for him to dump brittany or move on...

Ok, so i like this guy and i went out w/ him last year and broke up w/ him cuz i didn't feel n e "chemistry" or w.e and now this year he is soooo totally cute and i reely like him, but heres the catch, he has a gf and he said they prolly wont b breaking up soon...and i had my friend tell him i liked him and he said he liked me and i was talking to him online and hes sooo sweet and nice and he told me he thought i was cute, but he has a gf...and life's not fair! i really wanna go out with him...so wat do i do? hes the only guy i like!!

Alright, I met this guy named Peter almost 9 months ago and i was dating his best friend at the time. But yeah after me and his friend broke up we started dating. And we dated for about 7 months and then his mom died and everything changed. We had a terrible break up. He started dating one of my friends and he even carved her name in his arm... I dont understand. It makes me feel like i didnt exsist...What do i do?!

ok so here's the deal. . . i really like this one girl (not so sure about vice versa) and we talk every day. . i mean all the time. . . and i wanted to ask her out this weekend. . it's just that i don't know what to say. . . i'm not good at that kind of stuff. . . advice on what to do with her would also be of great help. . . .i am in great need of help over this. . . i've known her for years and just started having feelings for her. . .i just need some help. . .

I have this really strange thing happening to me. Well I keep running into my ex bf. First walking to the grocery store, then at elections Canada on election day, and then today at Rodgers Video. I havent seen him in a long time, but then just in the last week I've run into him 3 times. The thing is that he used to be really rude to me, and either ignore me or say something sarcastic to me. I think this is because I dumped him and he never got over it. But something in his attitude towards me has changed. Now he says "Hi, How are you doing, I havent seen you in a long time"! There is a guy that I was friends with 8 years ago when i was little and i moved and since then i hadnt talked to him or seen him... up until a week and a half ago. i dont know why but i seem to have feelings for him already even though its been so long. We've talked every day in the past week and a half and hes a really nice and sweet guy and he told me he sorta likes me too... hes supposed to come to visit so i can see him again soon. i dont know how to act and even if we did really hit it off he doesnt think it would work since hes lives 5 hours away by car.. it really sucks and im supposed to be going down to my grammas(that lives 2 minutes away form him) this summer for 3 weeks and were planning on spending time together and other time...

two years ago i started going out with this boy he was 15 i was like 16 i didnt really like him that much we had sh together in school and he would always sit behind me and pass me these pieces of paper that said things like your hott and whats your phone number i just thought he was a funny guy. well that summer we got closer and started dating. after a month i broke up with him bc i didnt think i liked him anymore, but things didnt end alltogether we became friends w benefits. then he started dating this other girl who im now best friends with. they recently broke up and now she has a diff bf. fri the 13th he asked me over and we had sex again. its been like 13 days and i havent heard from him and we havent talking in school either. what should i do or say to him?

Hi,
I have a dilemna. I have been dating someone for 9 months now.. he is in the UK and Im in Canada. Things are great between us. We get our usual squabbles now and then, but wat couple doesn't. Neways recently I had called him up at his work and asked for him. I got his father on the phone and he repeatedly told me to stay away from him becuase of so called caste differences. I am Hindu Punjabi and he is Hindu gujrati. I have mentioned this talk to my bf. and he told me not to worry about it and that he will sort things out.. but wat I don't get is why does everyone I get involved have this same attitude about caste and or religion. It is really frustrating.. Why can't parents just accept it and be happy for him/her...

I'm in 8th grade and in november I dated this kid in 7th grade. It was cool, it lasted for a month. But than he dumped me for like no reason. Then the night after that he called me back, begging for me to take him back, and I didn't. Now its been about 2 monthes, and he likes me again. HOw am I am going to deal with this?

Every guy in my grade thinks im prude. They Think im pretty and hot and all, but they wont date me becuase they think i wont do anything. I WILL though, i just am relly self consious and i always think there is something on my face or something when boys talk to me. How can i change this?! please help me :]

The guy that I like is about 25 pounds overweight and isnt athetlic at all. I asked him if he wanted to play tennis with me because I have been taking lessons. The whole time we played he critized me, saying mean things like "your stamina is terrible", what kind of lessons have you been taking", and " I thought you would have been way better". He was really upsetting me so finally I said that I was still learning and to give me a break. The thing was that he was a lot worse than me, and I was trying to say nice things to encourage me.
