Give up on dating?

Generally, when a guy says that he "doesn't date anymore" or is "putting off dating for a while", if he meets a girl that he likes, will he go for it or not?
He said that the reason for that is his last girlfriend screwed him over big time and most girls that live around here think they have to spread their legs to get attention and he isn't into that. He's 17

okay to start off, my boyfriend is my younger brothers best friend
and he's a grade younger then me
but hes still quite 'mature' and expects a lot out of the relationship
anyway, we got to second base, aka, he felt me up
and I asked him not to tell anyone, ecspecially my brother
that was a week ago, and i found out that he told everyone about it today
im quite bothered by that, obviously
i dont want to dump him though...im gonna have to have a chat with him, but i dont know what to say...any suggestions that will get the point across without making it sound like I want to end the relationship?

John has known ive liked him since about october, durin football season i wore his jersey to the games, we havent really hungout and stuff but i dont know theres something about him. he is now in my gym class the last semester and lately he has been acting weird, flirting alot. and i used to just throw myself out to him but now i want to sort of play hard to get while flirtin at the same time.. what can i do? i think he has some thing for me even know i know he probably wont admit it ( its not really anything personal towards me though, its just how he is) i see him in school sometimes, hes in my 1st period spanish class and we dont really talk(hes on the other side) and hes in my gym class .. i want to attract him more and i might ask him ...

ok so i like this guy we are friends all of a sudden everyone says we make a good couple and he likes me or so they think well my friend asked him out he said yes and we told him it was a joke witch it was then my friend went up and told him i wanna go out with him he ran away i ran away he said he would talk it over with hes to best friends they both think we make a good couple and one of them said i should ask him out so will they convince him to say yes or no whatr do you think how do i handle a yes a no im so confused i normaly get asked out

Undecided about my relationship

I've been going out with my boyfriend for nearly two months. The magic is completely gone and I don't look forward to seeing him. He always does the nicest things for me, but I used to see them as cute and now I find them to be ordinary. He also doesn't get physical with me, and c'mon, every girl has her sexual needs. I have a little thing for two other boys and both of them like me. However, I don't want to break up with my boyfriend because I know I'll regret it later on. But right now, it's not satisfying for me to be in this relationship. I'm not giving him my all, so I shouldn't give him anything. I'm totally clueless.. help?

okay so this guy at my school is into me, and im way into him too, we have like an amazing connection and he does really cute things for me he waits for me by my locker at the end of school to walk me my bus (even when he has to stay after for his community service cuz he always gets in trouble)... and we always make eye contact and smile at eachother during class...and he waits for me after class to walk down the hall...but...we really havent talked at all, like hes said stuff about how he's got community service because he said some unnecessary things to the vice principal but we mostly just say things like "soo..." and smile to eachother, what do i say to him? all this has been happening for like over a week, but i really want ...

The New Kid

Theres a new kid at my school. His name is sean. And hes really cute. I have yet to talk to him, but I just feel like its love at first sight. He's very short like me, punk style, like me, and hair down to his shoulders which I love on guys! The problem is, that he's a really bad kid and he smokes and alot of other girls like him. (preps and sluts)
I really think we would have alot in common though. I know I want to be with him and I was wondering if guys could tell me what they looks for/like in a girl and what girls do to impress guys.

This guy that I've been friends with for a couple of years just got divorced. He told me that he wants to get married to me. He has never had children and said he wants to start a family with me. My concern is that he is 45, 17 years older then me. If we started to have children, by the time my child was 18 he would be in his 60's!! I am also concerned because he is quite old fashioned, and would want me to be a stay at home mom. I just got a promotion at work, and I don't want to have to quit it so soon. I've only been with the company for 4 months. He also has a tendancy to treat me like a child, has a bad temper, and is very tight with his money. He's also very possesive of me. I don't know what to do. He would be a good father...

I've been going out with my boyfriend for a little over two months and everything seemed great, but for the past week or so it just feels like I don't love him anymore. We mostly talk online and when we do I don't say much to him and I get aggervated a lot with him. When I do get to see him it's basically the same, I don't feel anything for him. I don't know how to tell him I wanna break up with him cause I think it would hurt him because he tells my best friend that he loves me so much and would hate it if we ever broke up.. so I'm not sure what to do. ok, now brace urself, becasue z this mite get really confusing. there's this guy that i used to go out with for about 2 months, and we were really in love with each other, and everything. well, i did the stupidest thing, and dumped him, because i still wasnt totally over this other guy. then i went out with another guy, and i was still in love with my ex. so i dumped THAT guy for my ex. now my first ex is still really really in love with me, and im still really really in love with him, and he made this bet to his friend that he wouldnt go out with anyone for 6 months. so he asked me to wait for him so that i could go out with him when 6months is over. but NOW i like this other guy, and so im stuck liking my first ex, and someone else,...

Hi everyone,
I've liked my friend DJ since March of last year, we met in February, and he liked me in Febraury, but it took me until March, when he went out with a girl Casey, for me to figure it out. After that, it went on and off with us being friends, he told me he liked me while he was going out with Casey, but wouldn't break up with her. They eventually broke up in July. Now, we are friends, and he is single. I would appreciate any advice for me to get him to like me again, and I'm even considering giving his a kiss on Valentines Day... if hes still single. Sorry this is long but please help me.
Well yesterday in school I told my one teacher i was going to my locker and went to another one of my friend's classes where the teacher doesn't care whos there. But he was actually teaching for once so i started talking to a friend that was in there (during his lunch period). This guy.."Bob" was in there and I sorta liked himt then. He came over to the door where I was and gave me a big hug and I walked out into the hall and stuff with him. So we talked for a little bit and I realized I did REALLY like him. So I saw him a lot more than usual the rest of the day and he gave me about 4-5 hugs each time and had his arm around me and everything. Well he even came to my locker...

Umm... I heard from a friend of mine that tall guys love short girls. I wanted to know why because I am six feet tall,not ugly,not fat. I used to say that all the shorts girls steal the tall guys, but its the other way around. Will I be left with the short guys? There is there are few a guys I'd consider dating that are like 3 inches shorter than me. Is that my limit?
