this is probably gonna sound really stupid, but i was just wondering how do gay men have sex? can they even? because they both have, well you know. then the same with girls? i dont get it.

Gay men can have sex, although obviously they can't have penis/vagina sex. Most gay men have what's called anal sex. Anal sex is when a penis is inserted into the anus. Both boy/girl and boy/boy couples can have anal sex but it is more commonly known as gay sex because it is the only kind of intercourse that gay couples can participate in.
Obviously, girl/girl couples cannot have any kind of sex involving a penis.
