What about stun guns?

Some months ago I was beaten and raped by a stranger. I feel lucky I wasn't killed. He has not been caught yet though I don't think it'll be very long till he is. I would like to get some protection for myself, just to feel safer, but I don't want to buy a real gun. I was thinking about stun guns but I don't know anything about them.
Would a stun gun be good enough to protect me against an attacker but not really hurt him? Would it be legal to carry one everywhere I go? (I live in the U.S.) If I used a stun gun on a person, could they file a lawsuit against me because of it?

Last week I ended things with my boyfriend of over a year because niether of us were happy. We've been on and off the past four months and it just got to be too much drama, and I decided it was best to end things before they got SUPER ugly.
Before I ever considered ending things with my bf, I became friends with another guy through work. Between meeting him and now we've gotten to know each other, and he's really nice, super cute, and understanding enough not to try to make a move on me now that I'm newly single.
But for the past 5 days or so we've been flirting through texts CONSTANTLY. to the point of where just hearing my phone buzz with a message makes me giggle or bury my face into my p...

i love my sister so much its unbelievable... its just that she is sooo mean to me. But when ever i try to be mean back shes just laughs and i feel really bad. Im so nice to her, like i respect her and do whatever she asks... but then she uses me and rats me out for everything! She even makes fun of me in public and i get really embarrased!!! I dont know what to do or the say but it really hurts me to be pushed around like this. She is older than me and is going to college next year. Im gonna miss her soo much.
i just need sum advice to not feel guilty and not be hurt by everything she says.

I havent gotten my period in 2 months and i am afraid! I havent had sexual intercourse! but i have masterbated! Is it possible that i havent gotten my period because i hurt myself while i masterbated? Or could i be pregnant? I think i am bloting, is it because i havent had my period? or because i am pregnant? and when i push on my stomach it hurts!! please tell me what is wrong with me!!!

Ever since fourth grade, I have been good friends with this girl my age (I'm female too). We are now both 15. She is kind and generous and always willing to help. But ever since we started highschool, she has totally changed, but it could be me who changed. She is now distant and hangs out with the people I just don't connect with. I like to hang out with the laid back kind of people and she likes to be with the perfectionists. To top it all off, she is rich and extremely pretty, unlike me. I like to talk about problems and how to fix them with others and she likes to talk about her clothes, hair, and how high her grade point average is. I know she has a slight problem with pride, but I am very jealous of her! How can I get through this?

With in a year i will be going to boot camp, I have a good family friend who died in Afgahnistan. He was a marine, but i know thats where the airborne are. My parents are very fearful of anyone trying to join up. My sister thought about it and my parents flipped shit even though she just wanted to sign up for the navy. I thought they were going to lock her in her room for life, but I already signed and its set in stone that im going... how do i break the news to them without them going nuts?

i've had my CHI hair straightener for about a year and it's alright. i'm not crazy for it but it does the job pretty good.
anyways, on the sides of it there's like yellow, sticky gunk. what is that?
so i was thinking maybe i should get a new straightener.
should i get the remingtion studio or ghd? or should i just repurchase the chi?

So, there's this cute guy in my gym class. He is friends with my friend. So, my friend has been talking to him for me and she said today "Hey, remember the girl I introduced you to in the hallway the other day?" him -> "yea, Sarah, right?" her -> "yea, she thinks your really cute, and I think she likes you" him -> "uh oh, she's cute but I don't know her a lot." her -> "you should get her number, she's a really cool person, I know you'll love her!" and he just smiled and said "maybe I will, maybe I will" Does that mean, he's kinda diggin me? Hi, 15, female. My best friend is a guy (same age) and he has been my friend since third grade. I am now in tenth. All of my friends says he likes me but I just look at it as he is being friendly, ya know, seven years can do that to a person. Some girls come up to me in the hallway at school and ask if I'm dating him or they'll say "I wish I had a guy look at me the way __ looks at you" I guess I like him too, he's cute and he's always there for me, he's a great person. He struggles with no confidence and low self esteem so he isn't the happiest person around but every time I talk to him he smiles and laughs. We have ninth period together and we were watching a movie today and he has restless leg syndrome so his legs were bouncing...
