Listen friend, this guy is not worth your time -- I can tell this just from your question, and I think that says something. You seem to be a lovely girl and probably had a lovely best friend, and your best friend should be more important than this guy. Also, what does this say about the guy you love if he cannot put his feelings aside for you (about your bestfriend)?
I would not even think twice about this guy, you must know that you do not need a man to survive, you need to be independent and love yourself first, then find a good guy who will love you back and understand you have best friends and etc.
Also friend, please do not think of literally killing yourself -- no guy is worth your life. Do things that you enjoy, go back with that best friend of yours and have the time of your life, find the things that make YOU happy -- not find a guy to prove all of that for you. You must be independent and live your life and love it for you, love yourself and then find a guy that really loves you -- and it isn't this guy, he isn't worth your time.

If he loves you that much hes not gonna effing care about your best friend. Why would he break up with you just because he cant stand your best friend? Was he dating your best friend instead of you? Wives or husbands have to bite their pride, swallow it full and then excrete it and never see it again in order to deal with their parents-in-law (a typical case) keep their marriage intact, so why cant your boyfriend do the same?
obviously it means he doesnt like you enough, and therefore totally not worth it. move on!
p/s never choose a guy over a friend. a guy comes and go, but a good friend stand by you forever :)

your also gonna have to look and see were your friendship lies dose your bestie hate him too if she dose which is more important to you...
and the fact that he has another girlfriend shows that he is at least trying to move on even if he dose still love you and you too decide to get back together make sure they break up first cause you really dont wanna get played
