hi im candi i would love to try and get an advise columm started at our school but i wanted to try the roops on here first....im gonna take all kinds of questions but i would especially like one particulated towards relationships.....im a huge activist and know some french so i can even help with homework lol...and ive been through my share of heartbreak and just obsurdly crazy things so nothing and i mean nothing is off limits ask me anything im not here to judge and believe me i wont!

I do a job where I stand on my feet all day long. I've bought different shoes before and they seem to help reduce the soreness a little bit but my feet still swell a little bit and are achy. I don't like having tired legs and feet so I thought maybe somebody had some tips on how to reduce these problems or even prevent them.
i know that you stand on your feet alot but when you take breaks find somewere you can put your feet up...like sit in a chair put them on another one or sit on the ground put them on the sidewalk they cant be angled straight...this ill help keep them from swelling..=)hope this helps a little
When I get home from school my feet and the insides of my shoes always stink really bad. I do a lot of running in gym class and I THINK that's what causes it but I'm not sure of it. I have bought different shoes before but when I get home they still stink. I am kind of embarrassed because I'm afraid to take my shoes off at my friends' houses in case my feet are smelly (whcih they probably would be). Is there something I'm doing wrong? Is there a way I can get clean smelling feet after a day at school?
o em goodness i have the same exact probnlem... the reason your feet smell is because your feet sweat more during the day...one solution is sandals if when your wearing sandals they still sweat you may have an overactive sweat gland issue which the doctors can prescribe you meds for it or medicated lotion....some things you can buy are called "odor eaters" they sell them at most stores like mejier and walmart and kmart which ever is around you dosnt matter and now theve even started selling them for high heels so thoose are a great idea they just stick to the bottom inside of your shoe...or some home things you can do are like baby powder in your shoes you have to use alot it only works for one day at a time and when you take like the first ten steps you can see it....another thing you could do is wear thicker socks your feet will only smell and only if you take off your socks....what i used to do (i wear sandals now constantly) is i would take off my shoes and spray them perume then spray my feet with perfume...that actually works good at a friends house to...=)hope it helped
ok so for the past couple days my ears having been in agonizing(sp?) pain . i went to the doctors today and he said i have an ear infection in both ears. i got prescribed numbing ear drops and amoxxicilin. i have been using the drops all day but although i still have some pain i now have this obnoxois(sp?) loud annoying ringing noise. is this normal am i just overreacting?
i have this same exact problem when i get ear infections....thats what its from.....also if they start to like pop like when your on a mountain that is from the ear infection too.... like the other person said take your medicine til the last one is gone or the ear infection will return....if its a serious ear infection sometimes amoxil cant do the job and knock it all the way out so if your ears are still ringing popping or hurting by the time u run out or meds go see the doctor again or in about a week ul be right back to that terrrible pain....not to mention the annoance of the ringing

Bad posture runs in my family. My mom's shoulder is one higher than the other, and she constantly slouches. Ive noticed over the past year, i have been becoming the same way. I cant even stand up or sit up straight because it hurts. My shoulders are slouched, and ive already gone to the doctor to get it checked out. They said i dont have scoliosis (spelled it wrong), but how am i supposed to improve my posture if it hurts?
im very suprised you dont have scoliosis that is what i was going to suggest
id try going to a doctor that specializez in back issues
there is something called spinal manipulative thearpy that helps some peolpe
if you do go to the doctor they might do an mri

So there are two boys that sit behind me in one of my classes, and ive noticed they've become very obsessed with me. They are always trying to get my attention, calling my name every 5 minutes, just making a bunch of annoying remarks. They even found out where i worked and showed up one time. Now they keep bugging me trying to figure out which days and hours i work. I avoided answering because im sick of them bugging me and showing up everywhere. As mean as it sounds, I dont want to have anything to do with them because they are just creepy to me. Im not very good at being honest about how i feel about people. So lately ive been ignoring them(after they yell my name about 4 times) and when they try to talk to me i just turn back around and dont say anything. Ive been doing this for weeks, hoping they'd get the hint that i DONT want to talk to them. But they dont get it! What am i supposed to do without being rude about it?

Im going on vacation and staying with my uncle and I know ill be on my period part of the trip. Sometimes when I visit, he never has a trash can in the bathroom. Last time, i put one on there (cuz i was also on my period at the time) and his dog got into there..took out all the pads and tampons from the trash can and chewed them all up ALL over the living room. So disgusting and embarassing. I dont want it to happen this time, so what am I supposed to do with the pads and tampons? I cant just shut the bathroom door so the dog doesnt get in there because there are going to be a lot of other family also staying at his house at the time. So theres no way I cosntantly keep check on that or the stupid dog. And theres no place in the bathroom where i could put the trash can so the dog doesnt get it. Any suggestions?
my suggestion would be to wrap them up real tight and throw them away somewere else
or maybe when your out during the day change your pad then i know thats no fun but it may help

I know this is probably gross, but I have a serious question. My period is usually extremely heavy, soo bad that I use a SUPER PLUS tampon AND a long, overnight pad. And within an hour - hour and a half, it's everywhere (even going off the pad.) It's usually like that for 4-5 days. I hate going to school because I am constantly paranoid and worried that I'm leaking. Well I finally went to the gynecologist, and they got me on the pill. (I can't start it till the Sunday AFTER my period starts..which is already 2 months late.) Well I am scared I'll start at school. Everytime that happens, I get so nervous and I end up having a panic attack all day because its just sooo much blood. So my question is.. is there anything I can do in the meantime to make sure that I won't leak everywhere? (The pill is obviously going to make it lighter, but it's going to take a little while before its effective and kicks in.)
this may really suck to have to do but if your really worried about it you could wear pads all the time till you start
i woulnt recommend tampons becasue ul forget you put it in then leave it in and tss becomes a problem
and your right once you start taking the pill itl be sooooo much better
I got a cold sore for the first time last Friday. I'm not sure how I got it, but Friday was also that time of month. I'm not sexually active at all.
It started out being a tiny round blister-looking thing at the corner of my lip and I didn't know it was a cold sore at first. It wasn't noticeable when I closed my lips. Then I guess it was a cold sore, it got a little better (started scabbing) and then it got worse and spread to more than a little round thing. It's now like 1 cm wide on the corner of my lip and visible when I close my lips. It started crusting/scabbing, so I'm assuming that's a sign of it getting better?
Is there a way to help it heal faster or anything I should avoid? I've been putting chapstick/vaseline so it doesn't dry up and crack again (cause it bleeds a bit when it does).

ok first off cold sores are just a way that the body fights infection so even they look bad there actually a good thing there accopriated with sex because you can get infection from goin down on guys and this is the way they show up by your body trying to fight them
there are some things you can buy to make it disapear faster i know abrevea is one and oragel even has a cold sore thing you can buy for them
it scabbing up dose mean that its healing and if it drys up it wont heal any faster so if you dont make it to the store to buy something else keep using the vaseline and chapstick

i use the whitening deo. i do see a difference. but you have to understand, your underarms wont whiten fast. itll of course take time. so just be patient. if you want fast results, i recommend getting a peeling or a whitening at the derm clinics that have those services.
