so, i've known this boy for a few years. we're both 17. we liked each other last year, but we didn't date because i was going through some hard things and i didn't want a relationship. we stopped hanging out as much, and now we started hanging out again. i really like him but i can't tell if he likes me. all my friends (girls and guys) tell me that he flirts with me, but i can't tell. what are some signs that a guy might like you ? even if he's a little bit shy ? and how could i get him to possibly like me ?

People don't realize this. You can't get people to like you!! Free will. Now, does he give you alot of attenion? Does he care about your well being? Does his smile stay on you longer than anyone? If yes, scoop him up. Of you really wanna know if he likes you, study his body language towards you. If he likes you, it will he obvious! If all else fails, I say take that chance! Im as clueless as you are, girl! But my friend says, from experience, if a guy likes you he'll make you know it. Maybe he'll be subtle at first, but if he likes you,he'll eventually make it so you'll get his feelings. even if he's shy, he'll make the first move if he likes you enough.
But the way to flirt, make yourself unavailable. As if wait for him to find you first, and sometimes say no when he's asking you out. By being unavailable and then being irresistible when you guys hang out, he'll be thinking it's really fun to hang out with you and will continually pursue you.

Well when guys flirt they usually tease you in a friendly way and talk to you a lot and give you a lot more importance also they will be very nice to you. And if hes shy then just make him comfortable around you by telling him he can talk to you about anything and that you really like talking to him and hanging out with him and if he doesnt ask you out then you ask him out for a movie or dinner or something and if he says yes then you'll know for sure he likes you.
